I’ve been in the security industry for over a decade and I’m about to say what the good ones already know but nobody says out loud. Some (not all) security companies are lying to you. Not with fake licenses. With warm bodies and hollow promises. 4 red flags your security vendor hopes you never check: → Underinsured. No COI. No verified coverage limits. When something goes wrong, that liability lands on you. → Understaffed. Missed patrols. Underqualified, burned-out officers. Last-minute replacements who’ve never set foot on your property. → No operational standards. No continued education. No GPS tracking. No real-time reporting. No accountability. Just a uniform clocking in and clocking out. → They’ve never pushed back on anything. That’s not a partnership…that’s a vendor who locked you into a contract with no intention of delivering what they promised. This happens in healthcare. Hotels. Retail. Warehouses. Corporate campuses. Residential communities. The incident doesn’t announce itself. It just arrives and now you’re stuck with the wrong vendor and explaining to leadership why they weren’t vetted properly. The security industry has leaders & professionals who take this work seriously. This isn’t about them. It’s about making sure you can tell the difference between them and the “bad actors” before it costs you. Full breakdown in the comments. No form. No sales call. Just the truth. ♻️ Repost if someone you know deserves an honest look at their security vendor. #SecurityIndustry #PropertyManagement #RiskManagement #FacilityManagement #GulfcoastSecurity
