Tiven Gomez (@tivengomez) works out of Bogotá, Colombia, with ten years in blackwork and anime tattoos. Large-scale projects are where he's built his reputation, pieces big enough to travel that reputation nationally and internationally. “A veces mirarte la piel también duele.”

No por la tinta…
sino por lo que representa.

Varios intentos.
Varios errores encima.
Y una piel que ya venía sufriendo.

Esto no era simplemente un cover.
Era entender la historia detrás del error
y darle una nueva oportunidad.

Porque tatuar no es solo tapar.
Es saber leer la piel,
entender el daño
y trabajar con responsabilidad.

Muchos tatuajes mal hechos no se arreglan improvisando.
Se empeoran.

Por eso cada detalle importa:
la técnica,
la composición,
el desgaste de la piel
y lo que realmente quieres representar hoy.

Eso es lo que hago.

Transformar errores,
malas decisiones
o etapas que ya no conectan contigo…
en piezas con sentido, fuerza y verdad.

Porque crecer también es aceptar
que ya no eres la misma persona
que tomó ciertas decisiones.

Y está bien cambiarlo.

Si hay algo en tu piel que te pesa mirar,
tal vez ya es momento de transformarlo.

Born in Bogotá in 1997, @tivengomez found his path early, sharpened through formal art academies before opening his own studio, Bonsai Tattoo. Ten years of deliberate, obsessive craft that has built a following — nationally and internationally — around a style that hits hard and stays with you.

His signature is bold, high-contrast blackwork fused with anime-inspired imagery — a combination that shouldn't work as well as it does and somehow works perfectly. The darkness of blackwork given the energy and expressiveness of anime. Heavy contrast that makes pieces readable from across a room and impossible to ignore up close. His range stretches further still — neotraditional, minimalist, shadow techniques, each one executed with the same precision and intention that defines his foundation.
