$We are looking for works asking how Queer Ecology can unveil infrastructures of violence oscillating between scientific frameworks that organise reality (whether in the arrangement of time or the classification of bodies) and the technological-industrial systems that sustain infrastructures of extraction, displacement and militarisation, enabling wars and genocides. An invitation for films working with a broadened definition of media, understanding non-human agents, (geological transformations, plants and animals) as containers, recorders and witnesses, capable of testifying petro-capitalist his-stories. ———————————- How to invite these storytellers without displacing human responsibility or shadowing human suffering in the process? How to entangle stories of non-anthropomorphic intelligence that weave intersectional human struggles? How is the marginalisation of queer bodies tied to the exploitation of bodies of land and water? What can we learn from queer artists who have taken their practice to the streets and transformed their art into an intervention and protest? What queer spaces are entangled with petro-capitalist infrastructures, fracking sites and pipeline routes? Can queer artists seek alliances in the animal revolution to help jellyfish disarm battleships? ———/-/////———————- We look for artworks across the wheel of affects. Works that are rebellious yet deeply personal narrations, that don’t separate the intimate from the structural, the erotic from the political or the individual from the collective imagination. You can seek inspiration in lesbian land trusts, queer (data) farming collectives, eco-sexual performances, trans-antidisciplinary practices, homosexual sheep guards, public disruptions, other-than-white-cube spaces, interventionist art practices, artivism, hacktivism, (cyber)witchcraft, and erotic or pornographic works!
