Story time - An explanation, I suppose, for London.

Back in February, while scrolling TT, this English man came across fyp detailing proper hair pulling technique 😱 I was shocked, had no idea why TT showed it to me, but it was amusing, so I gave it a like. Not long after, I got another video from the same guy, but this time telling me in his deep, calming voice to close my eyes, take a moment, and breathe. Exactly when I needed it most.

Shocked the same guy could put out both kinds of TTs, I gave him a follow. I learned he had a patreon, and quickly subscribed. I drove people around me insane cause I wouldn't stop talking about this guy.

It was through this man I joined the most wonderful community of humans to grace this earth. They mostly seemed to know each other already, but accepted me without question, and let me be my weird, obsessed self. They, coupled with this handsome English man (I may have a type 😅), inspired me to do better and be better for myself. They gave a much needed escape and made me feel like I could do anything. And I mean anything.

When they started talking about going to a convention in October, I joined in, thinking there was no way. It was in London, and c'mon. Me? On a plane? BYE. But soon my maybe's and if's turned to solid when's and will's. I asked myself what was really stopping me - a plane? That's it? So I booked everything non-refundable to basically trap myself. I told nobody but immediate family, and a few people at work. The community, knowing my anxieties, my hesitations, pushed and encouraged me. Made me feel like I could do this.

It was for them I went to England. These people who didn't know who I was back in February, and are now family. I met the English man, and his best mate whom I also follow, and I'm glad I did, but the people in this picture are what I'm going to remember most from my time in London. And I will forever be grateful for them. And not just cause they're still talking to me after seeing a little of my obnoxious nature in person 😅

I can certainly #bioj. Every single bit. And for that I'm thankful.

Note to self...when you're having the most epic of weekends TAKE MORE PHOTOS!! (Thank you @tizzymaii and @englishbelle770 for letting me steal 😉)

What can I say? My first con and I couldn't have wished to spend it with a more gorgeous group! So nice to meet new and life long (I hope!) friends. Tizzy, you did so well this weekend, you are officially a grown up now and I will stop trying to be your Mummy 😉 Belle, I have not laughed like that in so long, thank you. Next time let's try and keep it out of the gutter shall we? 😉

And as for @itistherealjoey and @budget__thor, you were so lovely to us all and so generous with your time. It was a pleasure to be in your company. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing so many new AMAZING humans into my life. THANK YOU ❤️❤️

So, October?

Last two day in London were a bit more exploring and me dressing up as Kiki for the MCM con. Got to see Big Ben, 221b Baker Street, and made sure to see Joey, Luke and other squishkins before leaving and I got to meet Chanel from Tiktok! I saw Ash as well as Joey swung him round in a hug but was too in awe to get a picture!
