Last week, I had the greatest honor of being a featured Chef for @dc.urbanoasis - Men’s Edition!
.
Breaking bread with the fellas revealed the unspoken experience, each course became heavier through conversation, fulfilling rapport amongst the event’s purpose.
.
I am very grateful for this opportunity of not only coursing out part of my story, but to fellowship at DC Urban Oasis w/ the guests, thank you all for who arrived & supported along the way!
.
🎥 Thank you @tk.1take for capturing this event 🤝🏾

Last month, @elade_tk had the pleasure of being hosted by @dc.urbanoasis for our first pop-up in DC.

What a way to honor Juneteenth weekend - telling the story of our ancestors through food, and the room felt it.

Thank you to every single person who came out, and thank you @dc.urbanoasis for making space for me to share my food and a piece of my story.
