Back in June I went on a life changing trip to HK, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The thought of posting this was overwhelming so I waited a bit longer than I should have.

I got to experience 3 whole new lands with people who so unabashedly showed you their joy, tears, excitement, and vulnerability. They allowed me to feel and process all the gorgeous parts of travel in my own way and cracked me open to happy cries and bursts of uncontrollable giggles.
I knew this trip was special and I would want to revisit it in those moments when joy tends to slow down a bit.

So maybe that's why I waited till now, so I could sit here and cry thinking how grateful I am to have had this trip and how rare and beautiful it is to have people like them. ♡

Happy birthday to my best friend!! 🥳 We’ve been thru so much together and there is NO ONE else I’d rather go thru this life with! You never seize to amaze me with your hard work, drive to learn and do more and how big your heart is!! It’s hard to try and find pictures to celebrate you because we have so many (Almost 11 years worth 🥰) but here’s a look at the last year! I can’t wait to see what 36 has in store for you! Late to the birthday post, but just as you did exactly 10 years ago, you had me (and many others) galivanting around Asia! There are very few people who would imagine a trip like this AND pull it off.....there’s even fewer who are so beloved that this many people would follow them across the globe blindly, for one of the most Epic celebrations of a lifetime. From Disney magic to wild night life and everything in between, you are here for it all and you want it all. The joy and love you feel when surrounded by the magic of Disney, is the same joy and love people feel when they are surrounded in the magic of you. You keep the people around you young at heart, and keep us open to saying YES! when so often the answer would be no. As you enter a new year, and a new chapter of life....I hope this trip and these photos remind you how loved you are, how special you are and how every person’s life would be a hell of a lot duller without you in it....in fact some might say that you make everything, TECHNICOLOR!!!! Happy birthday bestie, I’m a lucky gal 💕

It's my Birthday!!! And I share it with Shanghai Disneyland which I visited when it opened 10 years ago. Somehow I convinced my friends to come today to do it all again and I simply can't believe how special this all is. THIS IS 10!!! 💙💛
