I finally made it to my dirty 30s 🥳🪶🧑🏽‍🩰🩰

This is a late birthday post and I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge and appreciate my support system that has helped me make it this far into my journey as a queer indigenous modern dancer. First off I just want to say that I am super grateful for all the opportunities I've received and looking forward to what's next on my dance journey and for all the new opportunities coming my way. This summer was packed with so many new things I got to shoot my first music video and experience a lot of opportunities as a freelance dancer. Another update hopefully I'll get back on doing my dance video journals it's just been too hot outside. It's been a rough summer for me but I'm super grateful to have made it this age considering the challenges I've had this year. I'm super grateful to all my loved ones and the support system thank you guys for all your love and support on my dance journey I hope you continue to follow me and grow with me through dance. A special thanks to all my community and good medicine to everyone

Dance is good medicine 🪶🩰🫀

Tomorrow on @lascomadres_vu we’re in conversation with the creators behind @unidos26film ⚽🎬

Set in Los Angeles, this coming of age short film follows a group of teenage soccer players navigating friendship, identity, and fear as their community faces ongoing ICE raids in the lead up to the world’s biggest sporting event. Unidos ’26 speaks directly to younger generations in our Latine community who are feeling the weight of political persecution and choosing to find their voice anyway.

We’ll be joined by
Jesus Alejandro Nuñez @jesusnunez2539 writer and director bringing stories rooted in lived experience and community
Erick Tlatenchi @tlatenchee actor and activist uplifting culture and representation through his work
Vee Bruno @imnitroglycerin / @nitroglycerinmedia producer building platforms for emerging filmmakers and new voices

From Pacoima to El Paso to the Bay, this is a conversation about storytelling, resistance, and creating space for our communities to be seen and heard.
