We’re officially launching @CaribTherapy on October 3rd at the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center in Boston! 🌴 @tlccmass

@CaribTherapy is an international mental health directory designed to connect Afro-Caribbean individuals and families with therapists who understand their culture, language, and lived experiences.

Right now, we’re welcoming Afro-Caribbean therapists and other qualified mental health professionals to join the directory — and your first 6 months are FREE! Listing your practice means more visibility for the work you’re already doing while helping more people in our community find care that reflects who they are.

If you’re a provider — or know someone who should be listed — visit caribtherapy.app to get started.

And this is just the beginning! ❤️

Join us for our Afro-Caribbean Wellness Experience with free food, live music, giveaways, a wellness experience, and raw conversations as we work together to redefine how we talk about mental health in our Afro-Caribbean communities.

🎟️ Want a chance to win prizes? Head to the link in @SaveSoulsInc’s bio to enter the raffle, or comment WELLNESS below.

Being able to document this 1st Anniversary was truly an honor.

Thank you for allowing me to capture such a beautiful and historic moment for the Haitian community. As a videographer, I’m always looking for stories that carry meaning, and this was so much more than an event — it was a celebration of culture, history, community, and the generations to come.

Through my lens, I had the privilege of witnessing a community come together to preserve and celebrate what makes Haitian culture so special. Every smile, performance, conversation, and moment was a reminder that history isn’t just something we read about — sometimes, we get the opportunity to be there and document it as it happens.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed me, trusted me, and allowed me to be a small part of this incredible milestone.

I’m grateful to have been able to preserve these memories and tell this story through film.

❤️💙

Here’s to the first year, the history we’ve captured, and the many more chapters still to come.

✨Haitian Spotlight Series✨
Laela is a rising high school senior who works as an intern at the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center. She is from Massachusetts, and her family is from Hinche, Haiti. Her favorite Haitian food is diri legume ak sòs pwa, and her favorite Haitian song is “Ke M Pa Sote.” She loves the strong presence of Haitians in Boston and feels very well supported by its Haitian community.

As stated by Laela, “Haitians are incredibly hard-working, determined, and driven. To think that we’re anything but that is simply asinine. We have immigrated all over the world and have made positive contributions everywhere we’ve gone.”
