• An old song by Gloria Estefan, but so great! One of my favorites by her, and I love the Spanish version more than the English. For me, as a Latina, there’s something so much more romantic and passionate in Spanish lyrics or certain phrases in Spanish. And these lyrics took on new meaning when I think of, sing for, and dance for, my love @tlittlesmindset ♥️♥️ For my non-Spanish speaking friends, below I translated this short clip (literal translation). Gloria translated her own English version, which is not a literal translation because it needs to sync rhythmically. The word “Oye” in Spanish means “listen”, but it can also be used to mean “hey”. ******************** With every beat of my heart I fall in love with you even more Come a little closer my sweet love You’ll see how you’ll fall in love with me Listen, my body asks for salsa And with this rhythm We’re going to dance Listen, my body asks for salsa And with this rhythm We’re going to dance Bring it, don’t be afraid I want to give you my entire body Yummy…..real close, so smooth I’ll get to you darling It’s your eyes that make me crazy With one kiss I lose all sense of reason I feel this craziness and don’t know what to do Your tenderness makes my heart pound #LipSyncDoneRight #LatinMusic #ProudLatina #Salsa #MiCuerpoPideSalsa #Hispanic #HispanicCulture #HispanicMusic #MusicaLatina
