The cutest cozy bakery in Decatur! 🥐☕️ I had the tiramisu latte, vanilla swirl croissant, strawberry croissant, sausage croissants, and a danish—and everything was absolutely delicious! 😋✨ The pastries were fresh, the atmosphere was so cozy, and the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Definitely a little spot I’ll be returning to! 🤎🥐

Buttery and flaky. Soft and fluffy. Sweet and savory. Tous les Jours (TLJ) is a French and Asian bakery filled with a tempting array of pastries. 🥐😋

Pick up a tray and stack it up with kimchi and curry croquettes, ube and pistachio spiral croissants, guava and blueberry danishes, cream-filled donuts, and milk pillow and red bean breads.

🍰And so many cakes — mousse cakes, buttercream cakes, and cloud cakes in flavors including matcha, strawberry lychee, mocha green tea, and sweet potato. We’ll take a slice of everything!

☕️And yes, they serve coffee too.

Welcome To Decatur, @TLJDecatur!

🍂 Okay Atlanta & Decatur, September is looking GOOD.

I put together my monthly roundup of what’s actually happening around town 〰️ the events worth clearing your calendar for, the new spots I’m dying to try, and the fall bucket list items I’m personally checking off.

Basically: next time your group chat asks “any plans this weekend?” you’ll have an answer ready. 😌

Save this so you don’t lose it, and tag your favorite person to explore with.

Been a matcha girly since 2012. I ain’t need another reason to drink it… but THIS? 👀🍵

Matcha is a form of green tea, and research on green tea in women with PCOS has found some pretty interesting potential benefits:

🍵 Insulin + blood sugar support: Research suggests green tea may help improve fasting glucose and insulin levels—which is especially interesting since insulin resistance is common with PCOS.

🍵 Metabolic + weight support: Some studies have found modest improvements in body weight with green tea supplementation.

🍵 Cycle regularity: A 2024 randomized controlled trial found improved menstrual-cycle regularity after 3 months of green tea supplementation.

🍵 Antioxidant support: Green tea is rich in catechins like EGCG, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Now before we start ordering matcha by the gallon 😂 — most of the PCOS research has studied green tea or concentrated green tea extracts/supplements, not your exact matcha latte. So no, I’m not saying matcha treats PCOS. But the research is interesting enough for me to keep reading… and keep sipping. 🍵💚

Do your own research + talk to your healthcare provider about what makes sense for you.
