To my President, @haroun_popoola , thank you so much for the trust, the opportunity, and the confidence you have placed in me. It has been an honour to serve as Gala Chair.

To my amazing NCAC Executives (Excos), your selflessness, dedication, and commitment to our community do not go unnoticed. Thank you for showing up, giving your time, and working tirelessly behind the scenes to make things happen. ❤️

Having served NCAC in several capacities for almost six years, this journey has been more than service to me; it has been a labour of love. I have grown, learned, built relationships, and witnessed what is possible when people come together for a shared purpose.

Thank you for trusting me to take on this responsibility and for standing together in service to our community. I am proud of what we continue to build together.

NCAC is more than an association; it is a family, a mission, and a legacy. And I am grateful to be part of it. ❤️🙏🏽

FROM MY HEART, THANK YOU! ❤️🥹

Now that the curtains have closed on the 2026 Nigerian National Day Gala, I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and supported us in one way or another, thank you for helping bring this vision to life. You reminded me of the power of community and what we can achieve together.

But to those who attended specifically because of me, those who bought tickets because I asked, rearranged their schedules, travelled, or simply said, “Matilda, because it’s you, I’ll be there” this is personal. ❤️

You may have bought a ticket to a gala, but to me, you gave something much bigger: your love, your trust, and your support. You showed up for the community , and I will never take that for granted. I saw you, I felt your love, and I am deeply grateful.

This experience has reminded me that leadership is not about doing it all alone; it is about having the courage to lead and the humility to receive support.

To every woman with a dream, dare to step forward. Ask for support. Your vision matters, and you never know who will stand beside you.

My heart is full. Thank you for showing up for our community, for the gala, and especially for me.

We thrive when we lift one another. And together, we truly are Thriving Beyond Borders. 🇳🇬✨

With love and gratitude,
Matilda Adetola

Our mocktails were part of a notable gathering in Calgary last weekend! 🥂✨

The Homeowners Blueprint by @closedbyseye brought Calgary’s future homeowners and current homeowners together in one room to share valuable insights, gems, and real estate knowledge to help guide the journey toward homeownership.

With amazing contributions from @cedarglen_homes Calgary and many other incredible speakers, it was an evening filled with knowledge, connection, and inspiration.

Thank you for trusting us to curate the mocktail experience for your guests, Mr. Seye! It was a pleasure being part of such a meaningful gathering. 🤍
