Tomorrow, Early Voting begins. @danimooreking

It’s hard to believe that what started as a conversation, a vision, and a willingness to take a chance has grown into a movement powered by thousands of conversations, countless miles, late nights, early mornings, and a team of people who simply refused to quit.

Serving as Communications Director for the Dani Moore-King campaign has challenged me, stretched me, and taught me more about Maryland politics, community engagement, and grassroots organizing than I could have imagined a year ago.

We were never supposed to be the frontrunner. We were never handed a shortcut. We built this campaign one relationship, one endorsement, one volunteer, one voter, and one conversation at a time.

I’ve watched a candidate show up consistently, listen intently, and fight relentlessly for the people she hopes to serve. I’ve watched a team overcome obstacles that would have caused many campaigns to fold. Most importantly, I’ve watched momentum grow because people are hungry for leadership that feels accessible, authentic, and committed.

But momentum only matters if we finish strong.

As Early Voting begins, I’m asking you to stand with us. Volunteer. Share the message. Bring a friend. Cast your ballot. Be part of something bigger than any one person or campaign.

No matter what happens next, I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every person who joined this journey.

Now let’s finish what we started.

Saturday was everything. 🩷

I walked into that room with one intention: celebrate your accomplishment, Cle. So I said it out loud — “I wrote a book.” And every time I said it, something shifted. Not in the room… in me.

HELD — The Elevated Experience didn’t go as planned. It went exactly as it needed to.

We talked about who we as Black women are becoming. We leaned into sisterhood. We named the patterns. We walked through the 5 phases. We moved from survival to secure love.

We signed books. We lingered. We laughed. And we had the kind of conversations that don’t stay in the room — they stay with you.

To every woman who showed up — you didn’t just attend… you arrived.

To Natalie, Kimberly, Diamond, my advisory committee, my inner circle — thank you for being my rock, my anchor, my people. I felt every single one of you.

I’m a S.E. girl who made something out of nothing. Ma… I hope I made you proud. 🤍

This is what it looks like to stop surviving and start celebrating. Not someday. Now.
