We are excited to announce that on June 21st, we will be releasing Versus Entropy, the first full-length Derelict album in twelve (!) years. Stay tuned for advance singles dropping May 16th and June 4th in collaboration with some awesome metal publications.

In the meantime, we want to fill you in on some changes to our lineup. Due to his many other musical commitments, Jordan Perry chose to step away from Derelict after the single (Clear Cut) that we released in 2022. Jordan's contributions to this band from day one have been incalculable and we were blessed to have shared so many memories and accomplishments with him. We did however manage to get him into the studio to add a few backup vocal lines to two songs, so listen for those, and send Jordan some love!

Fortunately, we had the honor to recruit none other than Tommy McKinnon (Akurion, Conflux, Neuraxis, etc) on the drums. Tommy is a veteran of the Quebec metal scene and has played on several albums that have been direct influences on Derelict since the beginning. In addition to being a perfect fit for the band musically, Tommy was a crucial part of making this album’s production work as we coordinated across five different time zones and over 8,000 kilometers.

Please join us in welcoming Tommy to the Derelict family. We can’t wait for you to hear his drum work on this record.

As for the rest of the band, the lineup remains the same as on Perpetuation (2012) and Clear Cut (2022), meaning the vocal and guitar duo of Eric Burnet and Max Lussier, enhanced by the progressive and jazzy bass of Sébastien Pittet.

Lots more to come. Thanks for being here.

Eric Burnet (Vocals, Guitar) @ericburnet

Max Lussier (Guitar, Vocals) @smash_oj

Sébastien Pittet (Bass) @wanubass
