AMIRA AYERS : DOROTHY
What’s it really like to be taking this journey down the yellow brick road to The Wiz?

🎭What has been your favorite moment so far?
“My favorite moment so far has been connecting with the other three leads. It’s been great to see everyone grow in their own individual ways with their characters”

👟What’s your favorite part of your costume?
“My favorite part of my costume is my silver slippers, but I also really like my ruffled collar sleeves which is a wink at the traditional costume.”

❤️Who’s been your “heart”/support system getting ready for One Act?
“My heart has been my production team, specifically Miss Burns. She always carries me and always says she believes in me with my singing and they say that they know I can do it because they picked me for this role for a reason.“

🧪What is your must have form of courage on show nights?
“My must have before shows is PRAYER!“

🧠A lot of thoughts go through your brain while performing, but what’s something you’ve learned about yourself this production?
“During this production process, I have learned that you just have to believe in yourself. Sometimes you don’t think you can do something, but you were picked for a reason to do it”

Watch @_amira.nicolee shine is this monumental role!

✨📸 A HUGE thank you to @tmediaflix for capturing such a beautiful and special moment in my life! 🎓🤍

From start to finish, the entire shoot was absolutely seamless. Brandon was so easy to work with, professional, patient, and such a great director. He made me feel comfortable, confident, and knew exactly how to capture the vision I had for my graduation photos.

The whole process felt effortless, and every detail was handled perfectly. I truly appreciate the time, creativity, and energy you put into making this experience so memorable.

Thank you for helping me capture this graduation moment in such a beautiful way! 🎓🩺 I’m beyond happy with how everything turned out, and I would absolutely recommend @tmediaflix to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!

Thank you again, Brandon! You understood the assignment! 👏🏽📸🔥

If you needed more confirmation…..here you go! Beyond the ticket purchases it’s really the support in the audience. Having “our people” in the audience with warm vibes and adoring eyes is what we remember. Trust us we see you. We may not make it to thank everyone after the show, but words can’t describe the feeling of knowing you are there🎭❤️🐘
