GRATITUDE
[grat-i-tood, -tyood]
“Gratitude is the expression of appreciation for what one has. It is a recognition of value independent of monetary worth. Spontaneously generated from within, it is an affirmation of goodness and warmth.”

Meet the coach behind New Season Training 🏀

We’re excited to introduce Andrew Tiemeyer, a coach whose passion for basketball goes far beyond the court.

Andrew is a three-year varsity letterman at Allendale High School and played three seasons of junior college basketball, serving as a team captain. During his career, he helped lead his team to the 2024 KJCCC Championship and a 2025 NJCAA National Tournament appearance.

His experience extends beyond playing. Andrew has worked some of the top basketball events in the country, including the Nike EYBL, Under Armour Circuit, Adidas Gauntlet, MADE Hoops Circuit, Prep Hoops Circuit, and many more—giving him firsthand exposure to elite athletes and high-level basketball. He has also worked with USA Basketball and holds a USA Basketball Gold Coach Certification, reflecting his commitment to coaching at the highest standards of the game.

Off the court, Andrew is a 5-time marathon finisher, proving that discipline, consistency, and hard work are part of who he is.

Most importantly, Andrew has extensive experience working with children and young adults and is passionate about helping every athlete grow—not only as a basketball player, but as a confident, disciplined person. Whether you’re just learning the game or looking to compete at the next level, his goal is to help you improve while building a lifelong love for basketball.

A few fun facts about Andrew:
🏀 Favorite NBA team: Detroit Pistons
🥋 Earned a Black belt in Taekwondo
🍔 He doesn’t eat condiments… at all.

6’3 Andrew Tiemeyer is a gritty, swiss-army knife.

The Michigan native made his mark with the KCKCC Blue Devils as an instant energiser on both ends of the floor.

His defensive tenacity, combined with his ability to absorb and play through contact, makes him a true workhorse.

Offensively, he can knock down the catch and shoot three or get two feet in the paint and finish around the rim.

A high-character student-athlete who brings value to a wide range of 4-year systems.
