Year 9 in the books! 💜⛳️

So many thank you’s to everyone who played, sponsored and helped us pull this day together. Our family couldn’t do it without you.

Nine years of showing up for Blake. That means so much to us 💜

And @tmropictures thank you for capturing the day! More photos and sponsors to come!

At the end of the day… you’ve just gotta try.

You can have all the advice in the world. You can watch every tutorial, take every course, and hear from all the right people.

But none of it matters if you’re not willing to actually try.

Your first video might not be great. You might stumble over your words. You might feel awkward.

Do it anyway.

You don’t get better by waiting until you’re ready. You get better by starting.

So get out there. Hit record.

Just start.

One year ago, 36 teams played for Blake.

We’re back Friday, October 2 at Mount Vintage Golf Club, and the field is capped at 30 this time. A handful of spots are open.

Three scholarships went out in May because of days like this. Come be a part of the next round!

🛼 the training wheels to running paid ads on your own (@tmropictures said it himself!!)

That’s Ads That Grow®️ - the 6 month paid ads experience for entrepreneurs who want direct, hands-on support as they build and scale their revenue.

—

I’m currently teaching my 5yo boy to ride a bike right now. Training wheels are on so that he can build his confidence to master riding on his own.

Couldn’t love that analogy more 🤍

One month ago today, a door closed without any notice.

At the time, I had no idea God had already opened the one I was supposed to walk through.

Around that same time, Josh Holyfield gifted me a content session with Talen Rabun of TMRO Pictures. After working with Talen and getting the final edits back, I told Talen I wanted to hire him. I just needed to build my business first. I set a goal of getting 20 regular clients on my books.

Today, I’m at 13.

Then I was given another blessing. I was told not to worry about rent and to focus on growing my business and getting back on my feet financially. I remember saying, “I appreciate it, but my goal is to not have to take you up on that.”

Today, I paid my first month’s rent and handed it over in a thank-you note that simply said:

“Goal reached.”

Then last week one of my clients tipped me half of the first month’s retainer I need to hire Talen.

Who does that, y’all?

So here I am posting one of the last videos from that original content session and just shaking my head at how much can change in 30 days.

Thirty days ago, I was trying to figure out what came next.

Today, my client roster is growing, the bills are getting paid, and I’m seeing firsthand what can happen when you keep showing up, keep working, and keep trusting God even when the plan doesn’t make sense yet.

Thank you to every client who trusted me, every person who referred me, every friend who checked on me, prayed for me, encouraged me, and believed in me.

I don’t take any of it for granted.

We’re just getting started. ❤️
