still overwhelmed by how deeply people connected with ‘Genesis’. i don’t think i’ll ever fully be able to express what that room felt like to me. i poured so much into this & to see it received with so much love genuinely meant the world to me. thank you for being part of something i’ll carry with me forever 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

‘Homegrown’ is an exploration of place and personhood, how they influence eachother within visual artistry. It’s about challenging the idea that one must belong to one home. Acknowledging the diffrent things that influence our personhood , that these things are not barriers but openers to a different understanding of self - and then art. The exhibition taking place during British BHM, is to push this conversation forward.

Save the date! Please come 🥰❤️❤️

WIP#14 Jadine Downes

Born and raised in London, Jadine is an artist currently in residence at the @fishtankworkshop_. As the only woman in her class she graduated university last year where she studied 3D VFX.

Jadine’s spirit is seen beautifully through all her work. She works in many mediums spanning across painting, film, animation, and more. I love the way she is paving her own path and bringing an important light to the voices inside of her.

Thank you for being you Jadine 🫶

𝐋𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 - 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 🧡✨⁣

I didn’t take it for granted when @leighannepinnock called me & asked if I’d work with her on the creative direction for her first ever headline show⁣, as I’d been admiring her solo journey from afar
⁣
From our first conversation it was clear how much this show meant to her & I have so much respect for how she cared about every finite detail across the process - resulting in us crafting an intimate, theatric show that was anchored in her ‘perfectly imperfectly love story’ told in her EP, ‘No Hard Feelings’
⁣
Ticket sales open tomorrow for this experience to be taken to bigger stages across the UK in October - gassed for more people to experience Leigh-Anne’s remarkable stardom, songs & story on stage⁣
⁣
A huge congratulations to @leighannepinnock & big up the entire team for an incredible night 🤍✨ ⁣
