The system ghosts you when you’re most vulnerable. Anu Sharma is here to fix that. 🏥🍼

Imagine being 36 weeks pregnant and finally feeling heard. No rushing, no checkboxes, just a plan for you and the "messy-beautiful" year ahead.
Anu didn’t build @millieclinic just to be another app. She built it because she was nearly a statistic herself. Despite having "great" insurance, she had to self-diagnose her own life-threatening postpartum complication.

While the standard US model gives you a single checkup at 6 weeks, Millie provides a coordinated team of midwives, OBs, and doulas.

Most importantly? They’re at your front door for a home visit between Day 3 and Day 7. Why does that matter?

Because 40% of maternal complications happen in that tiny window. 📉

The Business:
The smart money is all in. Anu has raised $19M to scale this clinical infrastructure, with a cap table including @pivotal_ventures (Melinda French Gates), @tmv.vc, @bbgventures.

And it’s working:
✅ 30% lower C-section rates
✅ 67% better preterm birth rates
✅ 2,500+ families supported

This is what it looks like when Brown girls rebuild broken systems from the ground up. 🚀

Drop a 🚀 if you’re ready for the future of maternal health. Tag a mom-to-be who deserves Millie-level care!

Gathering where worlds collide. This week’s TMV Annual Care Dinner brought together the visionaries reshaping healthcare, the investors who believe in them, and the leaders who inspire us all. Breaking bread with entrepreneurs at the forefront of life sciences, mental well-being, and community care reminds us why we do what we do. To our portfolio founders—your work matters. To our LPs—your trust fuels transformation. Special thanks to the hospital executives, veteran founders, and nonprofit leaders whose insights elevated our conversations. The path to better care systems isn’t linear, but when this much brilliance shares one room, the future looks brighter than ever. #TMVCares #VentureForGood #HealthcareInnovation

The global marine vessel market size was valued at $152B in 2023 and will continue to grow, providing many opportunities for maritime startups to scale.

Notably, startups like @harbor_lab , @freightify and @shipskartmarine are all revolutionizing MarineTech in their own way and valuable partners like our own Marina Hadjipateras, are supporting them through their extensive expertise and network in the field!
