One of my favorite things about running is the people it’s brought into my life. 🫶🏻

You don’t have to be the fastest, run the farthest or hit certain paces to belong. There’s room for all of us here, and I hope I can always be someone who makes others feel that way too.✨

turns out the best kind of friendship comes with matching endorphins and a camera roll full of running pics. 🫶🏼✨

I ran my first marathon.🥹

And honestly, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It tested me in every way—physically, mentally, emotionally. There came a point when my body had nothing left to give, so I ran with my entire heart instead.

But I didn’t do this alone.

The amount of love and support I felt throughout this entire journey—and especially on race day—has left me more emotional than I can put into words. Every message, sign, cheer, hug, and person who showed up for me carried a little piece of me to that finish line.

My husband has supported me through every mile of this journey, and seeing him and my son standing there with signs they made just for me broke me in the best possible way. Knowing they were out there waiting for me, cheering for me, and watching me do something I’ve worked so hard for is something I’ll never forget. 🤍

And Tara. 🤍 My best friend, my constant, my person. She ran by my side for the entire marathon. She held my phone, documented the moments I’ll never forget, reminded me about fueling, encouraged me when I was struggling, and somehow always knew exactly what I needed. When my body gave out, she helped carry me through. I truly don’t know if I could have made it to that finish line without her beside me.

And getting to share those 26.2 miles with Jordan made it even more special. It was her first marathon too, and there’s something so unforgettable about experiencing that kind of challenge, exhaustion, and triumph together. I’m so grateful we got to cross that finish line side by side. 🤍

I’ll never forget what it felt like to cross that finish line—but I’ll also never forget how loved I felt getting there.

26.2 miles. My whole heart. And a finish line I’ll carry with me forever. 🥹

If you’re tagged in this, it’s an extra thank you for the role you played in such a big milestone for me. 🫶🏻
