A week on from our @sipsandstoriesmarin fall event and we’re still smiling. Our hearts are full! We felt so much love, support, and enthusiasm in the room from friends, collaborators, event partners, and friends we hadn’t met yet. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported us, and helped make the evening so special.

In the days that followed, the event took on a life of its own online. The outpouring of messages, photos, reflections, and kind words was incredible and, if we’re being truthful, a little overwhelming at first. We weren’t quite sure how to hold it all.

Then we realized something rather lovely. We had helped create an experience that was no longer ours to hold.

It now belongs to everyone who was part of it, shaped by what each person took away from the evening. Whether that was a moment of inspiration, a meaningful conversation, a new perspective, a potential collaborator, a new friend, or simply the joy of being in a room full of wonderful people.

And isn’t that the magic of community?

It’s a beautiful reminder of just how much we need these opportunities to come together in person. To put down our phones, share stories, learn from one another, spark new ideas, and find our people.

We’re still soaking it all in, feeling incredibly grateful, and more determined than ever to keep creating thoughtful gatherings that shine a light on the people, brands, and businesses shaping the fabric of Marin, while finding creative and meaningful ways to connect us to the place we call home.

Thank you for being part of the story. We can’t wait to see where it takes us next!

With love and gratitude,
Sophie & Megan

You can’t tell the stories you haven’t lived.

Two weeks ago, I joined an exclusive club by attending all four @truevnt destinations across Italy: Puglia, Sicily, the Dolomites and, most recently, Sardinia.

Three days discovering the depth and history of this unique island. Between meetings and networking, I spent time with some of my favourite people in the industry and made new friends along the way.

Thank you to @luigides (and the incomparable @dominique_truevent) for another incredible show, along with your amazing team.

I can’t wait for 2027 and your two new destinations - I am ready.

I’ve sent so many clients to Ischia, it was time to come see it for myself! The stars aligned when my friend and colleague @toastncandy was planning to be there too. We soaked in the thermal springs, ate at the restaurants I recommend to make sure they still make the cut, and explored the island with our local partners.

These trips are how I really get to know a place. I am able to better understand the logistics, how to spend your time, and perhaps most importantly, how to have an authentic experience. I also get to know our hotelier and local partners on a deeper level so your trip is the best it can be.

Who I love Ischia for: couples, honeymooners, spa getaways, and friends trips.

When to go: the season runs April through mid-October, but this time of year is magic! September and early October are my pick.

Pairs well with: Rome, Naples, Capri, or the Amalfi Coast.

We love to organize pottery workshops, boat days, winery visits, cooking class with a nonna, relaxing beach club days, and day trips to Procida and Capri.

Thinking about Italy next year? Now is the time! I’m loving all the clients who are choosing to book early as we have access to the best rates and availability, and can plan the trip you want to take, with no settling for what’s left.

A fun morning at @bankstreetflea in San Anselmo, Marin!

It’s honestly one of the highlights of living in Marin. I always find cute things, and bump into some of my favorite people along the way!

Thanks so much to Paige @hereandwest & @kendrasmoot for creating such a fun event for our community, bringing people together, and encouraging more of us to shop vintage and secondhand!

Already looking forward to the next one (keep an eye on their Insta for more details)!

Sometimes it takes going through hell and more than once to learn how to truly live.

Meet Amri: colon cancer survivor + advocate, and one of the most authentic souls I know. Heart of gold, thoughtful, kind… I want to squeeze her every time I see her. 🤍

Amri’s story isn’t just about cancer. It’s about what “having it all” really costs us, and what it means to get a third chance at life.

I couldn’t have asked for a better story to carry our 50th episode. 🎙️

Listen today. I promise you’ll want to hug Amri, and your loved ones too a little tighter. 🫶

Best part of my job is making new friends along the way. And being in French Polynesia is a nice bonus. #traveladvisor #travelinspo #frenchpolynesia🇵🇫 #luxurytravel #makingnewfriends❤️

In Portugal, we hit pause on the world. No emails, no distractions—just us, exploring, laughing, and tasting every moment (and pastry!). Lisbon’s charm, Comporta’s adventures, and a family bond that’s now as strong as European coffee. Grateful for this time before life shifts gears again.

Thanks @toastncandy @foratravel for planning the perfect trip!

A very magical Wednesday!! 🥂

Huge thank you to @thehuntingtonhotel for having us at their iconic (unofficial, but we’d like to make it official) clubhouse atop Nob Hill, @thebigfoursf

Such a treat to spend the afternoon with many of our favorite travel advisors and suppliers in the Bay Area.

Thank you all for making it out. Already counting down to the next one 💫

And while I’m thanking people for my amazing birthday, thanks to the recently renovated @thehuntingtonhotel for the “extra mile” hospitality. My sweet wife thanks @toastncandy for the recommendation. Not an ad. Ha.
