Couldn’t let the month go by without thinking about the incredible time Ike had in June 2024!!!
He and friends went on tour. They started in Brooklyn and drove to gigs in Charleston, Nashville and New Orleans in the craziest of vehicles: The Beast!

WATERBOY, the first football film with an Afrobeat score is available to screen on YouTube. The film features “Lagos Sisi” by Bola Johnson (1973) and “Lagos” (from the WATERBOY Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).

Synopsis: One day before playing the best team in their Conference, the worst high school football team in the state of Connecticut must choose between the brutish strategy of their coach or the chaotic one of their waterboy.

Doing things I couldn’t have imagined doing just a few months back. Grateful and blessed.

Ringing in 27 today & looking back on 2025!! I lived soooo much life this year, and am so grateful that I got to travel, doing the thing I am most passionate about, while getting to see friends & fam all over the world. That within itself is a dream come true!!! Some notable moments:

I traveled to 29 states and 12 countries, I heely’d in almost all those places (Operation: Heel The World), I started dabbling in film photography, I started playing bass, I got to visit my grandparents on multiple occasions, I attended friends’ weddings, I played at a wedding, I saw the PNW for the first time, I drove to Bonnaroo and waited at a gas station all day and it got cancelled, I played keys at house parties, clubs, and theaters, I did a tequila shot on stage at the Sydney Opera House, I caught three fish one day in Maine, I said bye to my 16 year old dog, I directed a video shoot for Fender, I consumed more oysters than any other year of my life, I joined a gym, I wrote songs with friends, I went in three saunas (in Antwerp, São Paulo, and Sydney), I produced some of my favorite music I’ve made so far, and I drank a lot of Guinness. And most of my time was still somehow spent at @schulmansnashville.

One of (if not) the best years of my life, and I am feeling so excited and inspired going into 2026! Getting a little closer to achieving my dreams every year and I can’t wait to see what the next one has in store 🤸🏻‍♂️🥳🍻
