What a year it’s been…Toby Bear and I are so grateful for every person who has been part of Toby’s healing journey! The support, difficult conversations, late night phone calls of me sobbing, prayers, friends understanding when I cancel plans or ask them to keep their A/C set to 70 degrees to accommodate Toby, helping me take Toby outside for 3x more potty trips from his meds…for your love. For new online communities and friends going through this diagnosis and mitral valve repair surgery. Toby has thrived against the odds, because of all of you! (And don’t worry, we have taken more trips, and have more planned!)
