Just found out that the collab I did with R&B soul solider @tobyernest is doing its thing on Apple Music!

Our track “Feel Like” has been added to some amazing playlists like Brown Sugar, Smooth and Easy and Soul Revival.

The first time I heard Toby’s music, I knew we had to cook something up together – and this song is what came out of that connection.
Grateful to see it resonating with the soul fan out there. Go run it up 🎧 💜

I met Lydia on a Sunday afternoon at Panorama Bar five months ago, when she played right before me,
closing her epic set with Joe Smooth’s Promised Land, a perfect ending and transition for me. I’d long been a fan of Lydia’s productions, and since we’d both released music on Live At Robert Johnson, it made sense to ask if she’d remix a track from my album Puzzles for the Puzzles Club Remixes release. Luckily, she said yes and chose Club Paradisco, which she’s turned into an uptempo sunny house banger. She joins Axel Boman, Justin Strauss, Johannes Albert, and myself on the five-track remix EP, out today on all platforms via hfn music. Link in bio 🌞

Last summer, my album Puzzles came out - an analog affair with all live drums and instrumentation, made for somewhere between the pool, the couch, and the floor… Since then, a few carefully curated club interpretations by some of the best in the game have followed: Justin Strauss, Johannes Albert, Axel Boman (plus one by myself). And at midnight tonight, the final piece drops: @lydia_eisenblatter ’s sparkling, piano-driven house version of Club Paradisco completes the dancefloor package Puzzles Club Remixes - all five versions in one place, for your summer enjoyment! 🌞🌞🌞🌞

Happy New Year 🎆 I’m grateful to have lived, laughed and loved in 2024.

Played a lot of really fun shows, produced and mixed a ton of new music (mostly coming out this year 👀), moved back to Copenhagen to settle, and landed at least one nollie flip.

So excited to share this banger from NY legend Justin Strauss, a remix of “Tears We Haven’t Cried” - my collaboration with Kasper Bjørke co-written with Jacob Bellens.
It’s such a joy and honor to work with these great friends and artists 🙏

As Kasper Bjørke writes,
“Justin’s remixing career spans decades, reworking songs by everyone from Tina Turner and Luther Vandross to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Depeche Mode, and 808 State and many, many others. In my humble opinion, nobody does it better than Justin when it comes to preserving the musical nerve of the original song while adding a unique flavour that makes it stand the test of time on the dance floor 💙”

Out now! Tears We Haven’t Cried (feat. Toby Ernest) remixed to perfection by Justin Strauss, a dear friend and a true New York legend. Justin’s remixing career spans decades, reworking songs by everyone from Tina Turner and Luther Vandross to Ryuichi Sakamoto, Depeche Mode, and 808 State and many, many others. In my humble opinion, nobody does it better than Justin when it comes to preserving the musical nerve of the original song while adding a unique flavour that makes it stand the test of time on the dance floor 💙
