grad day vloggy! 🎓

studying has been my no.1 priority for the past 20 years and as much as i’m excited that this is the end, i’m definitely feeling a little bittersweet that this chapter is closing,,

as international students, my parents have sacrificed so much of their lives in order to provide for me and my brother, making sure that we get the best education, best support system, best upbringing, etc. so watching their youngest daughter (i’m the youngest!) graduate from university means so much more than the paper. it means that their biggest responsibility of being parents has come to an end. and finally, they get to breathe a little and start living their best lives!

so today, it’s also a celebration of my parents journey as parents. being the first in their bloodline to send their children abroad for studies, they must be very proud. and i am too so proud of them and owe everything i am today to them.

as much as im excited for what’s to come, the uncertainty is scaring me a little. bc there’s endless directions i can take from here, i do admit that it can get a little scary sometimes. scared of whether if i choose the comfortable path, i might regret the what could have been. or if i choose to take the leap, im scared of failure.

but every decision in life is scary. we just need to choose the one that feels most right to us. and even if one fails, you won’t feel the regret of not trying. we just need to take the lessons we learn from it and get back up and try again.

so no i don’t have it all figured out yet, but im taking it one step at a time! and choosing the path that feels fulfilling and makes me happy.

We turn 1 today 🎂 it started with a simple idea, to meet other creatives. I think as creative we all crave for 2 things, to connect and to create.

And after year, we think that’s what we’ve managed to do that. We’ve evolved into a community of creatives where we can all have a space to create. A space where our expression is seen. From connection, to creation.
