LAUGH WITH MANY. DONT TRUST ANY.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

History is being made in every generation.

Celebration, unity, music, food, art, and togetherness is our culture. What we bring and who are are In America.

Yet and still, the enemy our parents faced IS still our enemy today.

It’s hard to see clearly through the fog, but wisdom keeps speaking the same message: USE YOUR TIME WISELY.

Yes, Celebrate life. Be present. Occupy your time with purpose.

As my Haitian grandmother would say,
Mete tèt ou sou zepòl ou, epi veye sa w ap fè nan New York.”
(“Put your head on your shoulder and know what you’re doing in New York.”) 🔊

This is still a capitalist society with its own agenda to use us and discard us. Let’s not do that to ourselves.

My message is this. Remember
We have SO much power
The community alone generates so much money and sends back home. We The People ln THIS generation, in THIS time and THIS hour
we have awareness and resources the previous generation didn’t.
We the people are not a minority nor should we see ourselves as such. We are MAJOR we got di 💥 power

Shoutout to all Caribbean nations and peoples, AND to the artists, poets, writers, thinkers, and visionaries whose divine purpose is to be among the people to inspire and awaken them to the power and possibilities we have to create positive change even within a broken system that wasn’t built for us.

Who are we?

Generational curse breakers.

WE OUTSIDE.
