Dr Divago (😝) spent another 10 days with @camposaz_ws this past summer, may the entities bless the empty space and the thought that fills it 🤲🏻

The garden of the Tonezza library is now ready to welcome and to hold, in a place like so many others that shouldn’t be let go

I once again investigated animal forms in wood with the help of my colleagues. Here’s an ibex (female, 1:1, 75 cm WH), definitely more refined than the little horse from last time (please note the nostrils).
This time I left it there, let’s hope nobody fux it

Beyond the soundscapes of #fusina, #visualstorytelling quietly follows different #stakeholders in their daily #routines across various timelines.
The #senseofplace feels natural and effortless, shaped by the presence of #nature, #water, and #landscape, all blending together with time.

Hegel presents the dialectic as a three-part structure consisting of a thesis, an antithesis, and a synthesis. In human history, when the status quo (the thesis) is challenged by a new historical development or force (the antithesis), a new form of life emerges out of the synthesis of the two prior stages.

Our thesis is based on rationality, represented by a gridded layout of units. These units are proportionally sized for the number of occupants, with each northern unit having a corresponding southern counterpart. This design ensures equal access to light for all occupants, and while the units are primarily private, they can open up to public spaces.

The antithesis introduces the circumstantial aspect, where chaos disrupts routine through complex stairs and roundabout movements between spaces. Inhabitants must leave northern units to interact with stairs for access to southern units or exit the building entirely to reach communal shower and kitchen areas. The threshold between public and private is clear, yet adaptable.

The synthesis of the rational and circumstantial elements introduces new perspectives on light, privacy, and social housing. As occupants engage with public amenities like kitchens, bathhouses, toilets, and stairs, a sense of community forms and a new lifestyle emerges. Synthispace explores the boundaries of North and South, public and private, significant and adaptable.
