Such a great experience. Going back under the needle. To bring my old tattoo I had drew up years ago back to life. Thank you to the extremely talented brother @toddytownsend. So happy with how comfortable he made me. Genuinely great experience and great dude.🤘🎸

A dream that has been 10+ years in the making.

At least 10 years ago (if not more!) @disneyduke had a vivid dream I had this tattoo, this placement. I have both nervous and excited about it merely due to pain & doing it all in one session.

Friday night, it was time for that dream to finally become a reality 🌺. Of course there’s no one else better than my friend, the ridiculously talented, @toddytownsend to bring this dream to life.

Final result: without a doubt, he absolutely knocked it out of the park. It’s even better than we could have expected. Perfection. I’m in love. My longest session (3 hours from stencil to final) my biggest piece to date & one I’m so beyond proud of. Thank you will never be enough, but it’s a start.

One of the greatest joys in life is getting to create music with my kid. Watching their creativity, confidence, and passion grow with every song is something I never take for granted. He’s getting so fun to write with.

We’ve been having an absolute blast making music together—laughing, experimenting, making mistakes, finding new sounds, and creating something we’re both proud of. These moments are more than just music; they’re memories we’ll carry forever.

This Illusion
Has lived here long enough
I’ll cut you off
I’ll cut you off
Ghost of what you needed to be

(and now that) disillusion
Can feel me giving up
it’s not enough
It’s not enough
Buried under a living memory

Spending a couple hours with my favorite tattoo artist and friend @toddytownsend is just what I needed. The first design is something I have been planning since Dylan was born. It’s his moon the night he was born & his zodiac constellation, my little scorpio! He’s always been a moon child, energy (and sleep) ruled by the moon.

The second is something I drew while practicing on procreate. A lotus flower with hearts and a semi colon. As someone who lives with high functioning anxiety & depression (let’s hear it for meds!) the semi colon was deeply personal as was the lotus flower to symbolize new beginnings and new chapters ahead.
