POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Todor Vladev’s latest entry for the #OneCarChallenge takes us into a whole new universe, a story where history, myth, and imagination merge into a cinematic narrative.

Scene story:
"Nevada, 1964. Beneath the desert scrub lay a hidden facility—Project Peregrine.
In its cavernous wind tunnel, engineers tested machines that looked like muscle cars wired with alien machinery. They weren’t built for roads, but to rise above them.

One October night, the prototype lifted. Wheels dangled uselessly as it hovered three feet from the floor. Silent. Graceful. Like a falcon in flight.

For thirty-seven seconds, the future seemed real—until the craft buckled and exploded. Later tests ended in fire… or in vanishings no one could explain.

By ’67, the project was buried, sealed behind blast doors and classified silence.

But locals still whispered of lights that skimmed the desert at night. Machines without sound. Falcons without wings.

Project Peregrine had never truly ended."

Stories like this show how 3D art can weave together history, imagination, and myth. What do you think? 💛

It’s easy to get lost in the big picture — shaping the primary forms, perfecting the textures, and working on the lighting. But don’t underestimate the power of the small details. Sometimes, it’s the subtle touches like tiny scratches on a car’s body, fingerprints on a surface, or the realistic stitching on a leather seat that really make your model come to life.

Here’s why focusing on the small details matters:
• Small imperfections and details make your work feel more natural and believable.
• The more a viewer explores your work, the more they’ll appreciate the intricate details you’ve carefully added.
• Little touches tell a story. They can reflect the age of the object, the environment, or even the emotional context behind the scene.

Introducing "High-Speed Frenzy" by @todorvladev, submitted to the Car Render Challenge!

Tools Used: Unreal Engine 5, Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe Substance 3D Painter, Adobe Photoshop

Scene Story:
"The fog clings heavily to the streets of Neon City, where the skyscrapers and holograms dissolve into ghostly silhouettes. Daylight barely pierces through, casting a dreamlike glow over everything. For Rei, it’s chaos.
The fog hung heavy over Neon City, turning its towering spires and holograms into ghostly outlines. Daylight barely pierced the dense smog, casting everything in a muted, dreamlike glow. For Rei, it was chaos.
Her sleek Lancia Zero car, all sharp angles and neon underglow, roared through the hazy streets, dodging autonomous cabs and drones. The high-pitched whine of motorbikes grew louder behind her. She glanced at the rearview mirror, heart racing. A half-dozen bikers emerged from the mist, The Hounds — mercenaries known for their relentless hunts.
“Where are you, Dax?” she barked into her earpiece.
“On your nine, boss,” came the smooth reply.
From the fog, Dax appeared on his motorbike, a blur of blue neon. He fired off shots, sending one biker crashing into a parked car. But the others were undeterred, closing in fast.
“Keep them busy!” Rei yelled, spotting a narrow alley up ahead.
“On it,” Dax replied, firing again. Another biker went down in a shower of sparks, but the rest spread out, hunting her like a pack of wolves.
Rei took a deep breath and swerved into the alley. The space was tight, her car scraping against grimy walls, as she vanished deeper into the fog, the bikers hot on her trail."

Check out more submissions and join the thrill of the Car Render Challenge! We’re thrilled to see all the creativity pouring in! Don’t forget to take a closer look and let your imagination run wild.

Experience the full depth of @todorvladev "Cyberpunk Streets" and let yourself be transported to a world where the future collides with nostalgia, creating a space that's both familiar and intriguingly alien.

Tools: 3d Studio Max, Vray and Photoshop

Artist's vision:
Inspired by 80's scifi neon lit city streets of a futuristic dystopia, I wanted to create that environment for this car render challenge. I wanted to model a 80's sports car modified and fitted with wires and other gadgets to make it more cyberpunk/scifi and the environment around. I chose a rainy night scene where the neon lights and environment are more visible and set the mood.
