I do like to express my gratitude to WY-R Senator, John Barrasso, for acknowledging TODO TV en espanol’s work to keep the community informed.
Many thanks again to Kate Ready from @jhnewsandguide for her great article.
It is my hope that this recognition could help Wyoming’s politicians look at the Latin community from a different perspective. 🙏✨ Karen

Recently, members of the IN4LIFE team traveled to Wyoming to share our vision, mission, and values with local volunteers and strengthen relationships within the community.

During the visit, they had meetings with Alicia from Todo @todotvfoundation and Alli Lane from @it_takes_a_valleytetons , creating valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration.

We continue building meaningful connections that help expand our impact and transform more lives together. 💙✨

The 2025 Teton Leadership Summit (Nov 6–7 in Jackson Hole) brings together change-makers from business, government, and community life to explore how collaboration fuels transformation. 🌠

Our Thursday evening kick-off Keynote delivered by Senadora Julie Gonzales’ will be delivered in Spanish, with live interpretation into English, available via headphones. 🎧

In her own words, “The 6th of 7 children, Julie was born on the San Carlos Apache reservation in Arizona and raised in the borderlands of south TX. Her mom was an elementary school teacher and her dad was a rancher. Together, they taught Julie the value of hard work, honesty, and the importance of lifting as we climb.

Julie’s organizing career began while a student at Yale. In 2005, she organized a 58-member coalition of working-class families, unions, community organizations, and environmental activists to ensure that tax dollars were spent on affordable housing, a clean environment, and jobs that paid a living wage. 💪

For the next 15 years, Julie continued to organize statewide movements to defend and advance immigrant rights across CO, including successful efforts to grant in-state tuition regardless of immigration status and prohibit municipal dollars from being spent on immigration enforcement.

A lifelong progressive Democrat, Julie volunteered and caucused for Bernie Sanders before being drafted into running for office herself. In 2018, she set the record for most votes earned in a Colorado State Senate race, carried by the support of the community she’d served for over a decade.

Julie has established herself as a power broker in the Capitol, delivering meaningful relief for working-class Coloradans and communities of color while empowering community advocates and fellow legislators to hold the line for progressive priorities. Since 2018, Julie has: repealed the death penalty; codified abortion protections; stopped ICE from raiding state databases; strengthened renter and tenant laws; streamlined cannabis regulations; installed a regulatory framework for deadly air toxins; reduced the cost of prescription drugs; and secured over 500 million dollars for affordable housing”.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes teaser from Womentum Executive Director Kristen Fox’s interview with the amazing Alicia Unger founder and CEO of TODO TV EN ESPAÑOL. 🎥

TODO TV EN ESPAÑOL is the first Spanish-language TV channel for Idaho and Wyoming. 📺 Their goal and commitment is to serve the Latino community by offering entertainment and news programs with quality information. They’re very active on social media also, so give them a follow!

Alicia is a fearless trailblazing powerhouse. If you don’t know her, you should! 👑

Earlier this week, Todo TV reporter Alicia Unger posted a video on Facebook of her approaching a vehicle with federal license plates outside The Lodge at Jackson Hole. In the wake of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Unger’s group chats have been flooded with images and videos of vehicles with federal license plates, spotted outside hotels and grocery stores in Jackson and Driggs.

“It is important as an immigrant community to stay prepared,” she said. ICE raids have already begun in several U.S. cities including Denver, Chicago, Newark, New Jersey and many in Texas. About 12% of Teton County’s population and an estimated 25% of people in the Town of Jackson are foreign-born.

The man in Unger’s video said he was an employee of Wyoming Military Department, a branch of both the Governor’s office and the Wyoming National Guard and in Jackson for “cold weather training.”

A spokesperson for the Wyoming Military Department confirmed employees were in Jackson for search and rescue training, not acting as immigration enforcement.

But an executive order from the president or governor could change that role, he said.

So far, other local journalists, the sheriff’s office and immigration experts have no confirmation of immigration enforcement personnel in the area, but remain on alert.
