🐸 ⛳️ 🐷 🐸 ⛳️ 🐷 🐸 ⛳️ 🐷 🐸 ⛳️ Sooo much fun watching the the opening parade of this year’s HOG with Peggy!!! @toerope … I will confess that there came a point when I became everything I complain about (in my mind) the younger generation more committed to filming the moment rather than living the moment when this young toad made an appearance at my feet and I immediately thought “Let me take a quick pic of this this cutie” rather than “Let me make sure this cutie isn’t stomped on…” Happily ever after not all heroes wear capes… some carry canes… if anyone knows the gentleman who rescued the 🐸 please give him my heartfelt thanks and a big round of applause 👏 👏👏

“Yup.” was the succinct reply from the A-IHC tonight when I asked him if he liked dinner… “‘Yup’ isn’t very descriptive… my In-House Critic told me it was delicious… I’m gonna need more from you before I post.” “It was magnifique!” he replied. That works😊 Broiled rib-eye seasoned with kosher salt & freshly ground pepper - roasted potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, onion powder & garlic powder - asparagus with salt, pepper & butter. I thought of @toerope tonight as Peggy made the most delicious roasted potatoes I ever ate and when I asked her secret she told me to lay them flat on the pan and leave them there… no flipping… I’ve followed her advice ever since… crispy flat sides and yummy insides! Plus, recently watched a Jacques Pépin video that showed a really simple way to prepare and pan steam asparagus - no more roasted asparagus for the near future as I was reminded how delicious “traditional” asparagus is… P.S. The last photo is my bowl 😊 #quarantinecooking
