Thank you for allowing me to share a small part of your story, Toffee. You've blossomed into the best version of yourself and every day to try even harder. You lovingly welcomed your new sister, Corliss, into your pack and she's becoming a champion in her own right.

From the day your Mom rescued you you opened up and have demonstrated nothing but love and appreciation since. You are a true warrior.

Walter ❤️

The letter was threatening.

It's never really left my mind.

"Back off... Bow Tie."

One question kept coming back...

Who could deliver a warning letter without postage... and without anyone noticing?

There was one logical suspect...

THE MAILMAN.

Coming next: The Interrogation.

The words in the letter were never forgotten.
"Back off... Bow Tie."

Walter by the Window: Chapter 3 | The Evidence
After scouring file after file, the newsroom uncovered something that may change the course of the entire investigation.

A miniature schnauzer reporter knows that old evidence has a way of resurfacing when the right questions are finally asked.
But just what direction will it lead?

If you're new to the investigation, Chapters 1 and 2 are still on the grid.

I think many love this boy… but none more than his Mom. Don’t we all get the sense she feels exactly this way? 🎂🖤

They thought the story ended when the newsroom disappeared.
When the lights went out.
When the records vanished.
When the building was reduced to rubble.
But somebody made a mistake.
They forgot reporters keep copies. 📰

They said the newsroom went quiet.
They were right.
But silence isn’t surrender.
It’s strategy.
Reports were filed.
Orders were issued.
And a lot of voices had something to say about it.
I heard you.
But this case… isn’t closed.
Bankruptcy picked the wrong dog.
And I’m still on the record.

A vermin-free prom is in
everyone’s pest interest.
Ultimately, Emerald decided that pest control was a necessity.

Filed from the home front:
A new arrival has officially joined Toffee’s world.
Corliss Adair. Small in size… already making a big impression.
Initial reports confirm tail wags, close inspections,
and a level of curiosity that suggests this story is just beginning.
Some moments don’t need investigation.
They just need to be witnessed.
Welcome home, Corliss.

Ground team dispatched to Lemon Drop Creek.
What appeared to be scattered citrus turned out to be something else entirely.
Lemons.
Carefully disguised as acorns.
This wasn’t careless.
It was intentional.
Citrus Council issued an advisory weeks ago.
Today, that warning proved justified.
Investigation ongoing.
More to come.
