Hi! I’ve tried to write this a few times now, and procrastinated bc I wanted to write things the “right” way. I never go into my thoughts on here. I find it easier existing as a passive observer, and it saves me a lot of self judgement and embarrassment. It’s #weird. I remind myself that shit isn’t real, but it has a real effect nonetheless. Honestly, sometimes I question why I want to start a brand, or why I’m even into fashion in the first place. There’s moments when it all feels so meaningless to me. But I’m coming to a point where I don’t really feel like I need to answer that question. All I know is one of the core feelings that drives me is hate. Hate for the person I don’t want to be. Hate for when I think I’m not enough. Hate for being human. And I’ve found that maybe hate isn’t the enemy. Maybe, just maybe, this hate is something I can befriend and understand and learn from, just like any other feeling I have. And that brings me to an “answer”. I want Kiro to be a place where I am free to express what I feel without constantly judging myself. And I’d love to put it on full display to show you (me) that there’s nothing to be ashamed of. So I present to you ‘A Step Into The Future’. Thank you to anyone who decided to read this far, and special thank you to @billycolelanders for shooting this incredible video.
