If you haven’t been to @togahtx yet, WYD?!! Now serving up brunch on the weekends, this definitely needs to be added to your list! I would reorder my exact meal all over again because those Shrimp & Grits?! SENSATIONAL. Easily in my TOP 5 in Houston list. The French Toast? A PERFECT bite. The Tamago Sando, IMMEDIATELY YES!

They also do serve their infamous Waygu Burger if you’ve been waiting to try that too 😍

So if you needed brunch plans for the weekend, SAVE this spot as this one is #PSTApproved

🍔🥩 What’s really in your Houston burger? As the debate over beef sourcing heats up, these local restaurants are putting quality, freshness, and transparency on the menu!

From grinding beef in-house to partnering with Texas ranchers, spots like Eunice, Boo’s Burgers, Eastbound Barbecue, Willow’s Smokehouse and Tavern, Toga, and Brasserie 19 are taking their burgers seriously. Think brisket-blend patties, smoked Wagyu, locally sourced beef, and plenty of cheesy, juicy goodness. 🤤🔥

Toga

This collab scratched an itch that we didn't realize we had.

@botbfood and @togahtx came together for a two night tasting menu, and we are so glad they did. Every dish is in order, and every dish delivered.

Favorites include:
Pastelito Torrija, and succumbing to our desires we of course added the caviar.
Summer Succotash

This all created a one of a kind experience, and definitely a favorite of ours

We ended up going back to Toga for their lunch, having the Kamadon and Wagyu burger. The Wagyu Burger is one of the best I've ever had, and definitely top 5 restaurant burger in Houston (the fries and OTS sauces are bomb too). This place has "it" and we will be back again and again.

I do not for the life of me understand why brunch at @togahtx isn't busier. When the French Omelette with wasabi butter and sesame potatoes came out looking like this and perfectly creamy inside, I knew we were in good hands. Some of the best egg cookery I've experienced in #HOU in a long time!

Matcha latte.
My hot tea was on point too. Delicious. Tea service in Houston is a weak afterthought almost everywhere outside Chinatown. Not here

Shrimp and "grits." Guess I'm going to have to learn how to make rice grits and add it to my repertoire.

Shrimp were perfectly cooked and the rice grits were better than the corn grits most everywhere.

Black Sesame Waffle with black sesame everything. Just the right blend of savory and sweet.

Thanks for toasting the sesame properly.

Tomago Sando. Filling, tasty, well prepared.
Nuf said. If you've been sleeping on getting here for brunch, get off your butt and go.

TOGAAAA!!!! I was so impressed with this restaurant!!! Izakaya style and so many interesting yet delicious dishes.

Wagyu cheeseburger is a must get. Potato bun, so juicy and flavorful. The spicy aioli on the side. Chefs kiss.

We also ordered the Gyoza, gulf shrimp appetizer, and some chicken skewers.

UDON CARBONARA. I was wowed. Another must order. Creamy, packed with flavor, love all of the pancetta in there too.

Have to say, this was my favorite dish!!! The tuna carpaccio. Under the tuna was this avocado wasabi spread. Putting it on top of the milk bread wowowow.

Cheers!!!! This drink was so good.
