HEKA (HEH-kah); the divine creative force woven through all of existence.

In ancient Egypt Heka was understood as magic and the primordial energy that brought the universe into being.

Healers and priests practiced heka through the intentional use of plants, minerals, ritual and sacred word, understanding that this divine power could be invoked through nature’s elements - that the natural world was the vessel for its generative force.

When we work with flower essences, we’re tapping into this same creative energy that flows through all living things - we’re restoring harmony through a living relationship with nature and the divine.

Each essence carries its own unique vibrational signature, a frequency that exists in natural alignment with the cosmic order.

These floral allies work with our own innate healing intelligence, dissolving energetic stagnancy, allowing our true creative essence - our own magic - to flow freely once again.

15 years with you @told_by_emma ✨

Who knew life would lead us from college corridors, communications degrees, bush doofing in glitter & matching doc martins

To becoming entrepreneurial badass biz babes, living in bali & waltzing through the rice fields in our matching barefoot shoes... haha!

I love growing with you, through all the seasons & passages of life. Thank you for our sisterhood, our endless laughs, our "wealthy witch" nerdy biz chats & everything inbetween

Here's to the ever unfolding chronicles of DJ Tasty Trance & Booka ❤️‍🔥💃

Happy birthday Emmy, I love you! 🫶🏽

Abby is a flower essence practitioner, mentor, and the woman behind Heka Healing.

She is also a creative and an intuitive, with a presence that brings joy and beauty to whatever room she’s in. When you think of the sun, you think of Abby. This was a series made to honour that.

A day by the lake with Abby of Heka Healing.

📷 Creating Romance for @abbyrose with @told_by_emma in Noosa a while back 🤎

Imagery made in the spirit of collaboration and expression for Abbies’ updated branding. A mixture of planning and experimentation and a whole lot of flowers. Captured from dawn till dusk, complete with a pancake break 🥞
Excited to finally have the time to dig up these images and share more from the shoot this week.

Flower essences have shown me that at the crux of my being I am fundamentally whole.

Even if the ripples of perceived separation still flow through my experience, and they do often

The depth of this truth acts as an undercurrent of divine support that weaves beneath it all

It allows me to hold faith that even amidst the challenge, chaos, edges and ebbs of this human experience,

I am deeply connected to something larger that will hold me through it all.

This is not just my experience either, this is what the flowers can and do offer all, this is their medicine.

PLANT COMMUNICATION - is a beautiful pathway not only to deepen our connection with the natural world, but to discover more about ourselves, find guidance wherever we are, and expand our consciousness without limits.

5 ways to begin cultivating communication with plants and flowers 👇🏽

1. RECIPROCITY - The foundation of communing with nature must be deep reverence and gratitude, never desperation or demand. We must acknowledge that the natural world has abundant wisdom to offer us, and we it. To establish this sacred relationship, we must give back—through expressed gratitude, love, or offering physical and energetic gifts. This exchange creates the foundation for all communication.

2. BECOME A TREE HUGGER - Nature invites us to connect with it, to receive its messages and wisdom through energetic transmission. When we make physical contact with the natural world, we directly receive these subtle energies. Build your connection by making gentle, respectful contact with trees, plants, and flowers. Always remember to ask permission (and honour the answer) before taking anything from nature.

3. WALKING WITH PALMS OPEN - Deepening our attunement to nature requires awakening our own subtle senses. Walk through natural spaces with your palms open and facing forward, inviting nature to speak to you and share her energy. Feel into the sensations you receive through your palms—they are among the most receptive areas of your physical body, capable of detecting the finest energetic signatures.

4. FLOWER GAZING - Take time to sit with a flower or collection of flowers. Begin to notice everything about it—its colours, shapes, textures, and the way it expresses itself without words. Observe the space around it and the shapes it creates. Appreciate its beauty, life force, and scent. In this state of presence and appreciation, subtle messages often begin to flow.

5. FLOWER ESSENCES - Flower essences offer direct access back to nature, a remembering of our innate connection. When we combine flower essences with these other practices, plant communication becomes our second nature—a return to a language our souls have always known.

Evolution requires expression.

While rest and internal reflection forge the path for our evolution, expression is the vital force that brings our inner world to life. It’s the raw animation of our truths, visions, and intentions.

We; nature and the earth, are pure universal expression in form.

Only as a flower blooms, do we truly receive its beauty, its gifts, its life force.

Unexpressed thoughts and emotions create internal resistance, polluting our waters and distorting our path.

Expression takes infinite forms - spoken word, writing, art, movement, dance; sharing our views and ourselves with the world.

Expression is an act of surrender to universal creation - a process deeply personal and unique to each being.

Expression will always lead to expansion.

…

If you wish to work with the flowers to tap into your authentic creative expression, your pure potential, my 2025 Flower Therapy and Mentoring books are open.

The flowers are forever asking us to evolve, to grow, to shape shift, to experience life in a different way, through a different lens.

I must admit, it has been a challenging journey trying to convey what the potential is when using this medicine, to refrain from the need to ‘prove’ an outcome, to trust that those who need it most will allow it to arrive with them.

Another learning of loosening the reigns on life, of letting go of the control, another teaching from the flowers offered to me once again.

I’m in constant awe and surprise of the intricate weavings together of the flowers, of the divinely orchestrated conversations and opportunities, of the infinite synchronicity, and most of all the absolute beauty and abundance they offer us if we have the eyes to see and the openness to receive.

So if the flowers are calling you, may this be your nudge to heed the call, to listen to the whispers of nature and the universe and to step towards your next evolution.

Place your orders before 12pm today and they will ship this afternoon. All orders after this will ship January 14th.

My books for January are also open, if you feel Flowery Therapy is for you, you can book on the site now.

Have the most beautiful holiday season and end of year 🌻🌸 thank you to all who are supporting myself and the flowers along the way. I am forever grateful. 🙏🏼
