GO ON CHASE YOUR DREAMS, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!! 🌟🌂🦜✨🍒 playing mary poppins, a spunky, spirited woman of wild and whimsical paradox, was an absolute dream come true! 💫 she both “suffers no nonsense” and encourages and celebrates it at every turn. she is serious and silly, vain and humble, strict and playful, sharp and soft, bubbling with mystery and clear as day! her medicine is symbiotic order and whimsy. she transforms the banks family with liberal spoonfuls of discipline, delight, compassion, precision, joy, wonder, and foolery—and she “never explains anything!!” mary p has challenged me to embrace my own multitudes- to live boldly and authentically and unapologetically in what may appear to be absurd contradictions. she has taught me that “finding the element of fun in every job that must be done” is indeed a holy quest. that we must “look past what we see” and leave everything better than we found it so that it may “remain so.” things won’t be exactly perfect, just “practically perfect” and that’s the best we can do in this life. au revoir, Mary P! Thanks for your questions. We’re addressing each in future posts. Curious about our kids’ life and schooling on the boat? We’ve a short video to show their daily adventures — it’s an incredibly enriching lifestyle.

Days start with breakfast, then studies from 8 am. Afternoons are for playing with fellow sailing kids. We ensure they’re always near friends.

Education-wise, we adapt. Bad weather means no study, but we keep up, even on Saturdays. Guests often assist us.

In longer stays, like in the Marquesas, Bora Bora, or Australia, local schools welcome our kids, helping them adapt and make friends.

Back in Hungary briefly, they attended school and took exams to stay on track.

This life teaches them more than academics — it’s about lifelong friendships and cultural insights.

With English as their new common tongue, our kids bond easily with sailing peers. Though we part ways, reunions are common. They’ve stayed in touch via smartphones with friends and family.
