To celebrate Monty’s 17th and half month birthday, we thought it would be nice to share some of the journey so far.

Somewhere in late 2023, we decided to open a dog daycare.. naively underestimating the sheer size of a project like this and equally overestimating how well equipped we were to physically build, well, anything - we embarked on the journey.

After weeks of delivering hundreds of letters around rural Amsterdam, we finally got a call back. We went to check out the land and were greeted by goats, a hippie commune, sheep and 8 tonnes of construction waste. It was perfect! So we got to work.

We have loved every minute of this journey, spending our days with the sweetest creatures on earth is truly a gift!

A big thank you to @officerjohn___ for his work with the community and allowing us to use his music, license-fee free!

Thank you also to our amazing team @giuliapedrini92 @tom.hitz @eervdong Safe to say our customer content has drastically improved under your guidance!

The day started with a simple text to the group chat, a short list with three events around the city. It was initially just @rasendriyaradhana and I, but the rest followed shortly after the message.

First up, was the @bababoys.shop pop up, they served falafels, Moroccan coffee and sold clothing from a few independent designers. The courtyard was an amazing spot to host a chill Saturday hangout, so we stayed for the spontaneous interactions under the sunlight.

As the sunlight faded behind the Amsterdam houses, we moved to our second location, which was a photography exhibition from @danielverolme in collaboration with @drm.unit . The photos displayed were in a similar style to my own, and made the perfect backdrop for some of my own shots.

Some of the boys went home to grab dinner, so we decided to go to a surinamese/Chinese restaurant near central station, for a quick boost of energy and refill our social battery as well. We ended our night at the Baba boys afterparty at sfamsterdam , where we listened to their curation of DJs. Our day was filled with Amsterdam shinanigans, and it all started with a text, take this as a sign to spice up your summer days, send a spontaneous invite and see what happens:) fuck around and find out! 🌠
