Thankful for the chance to compete with Fairfield Nationals in the 15U PG SUPER25 Northeast Fall Super Qualifier. We came up short in the semis, but couldn’t be more proud of the way this team rose to the challenge and battled.

I’m incredibly honored and grateful to be selected to play in the 2026 Under Armour 8th Grade All-America Game as a quarterback.
This opportunity is the result of countless hours of work, amazing coaches who have believed in me, incredible teammates who have pushed me every day, and the unwavering support of my family. None of this happens alone.
I’m humbled to represent my community while competing alongside the best 8th-grade players in the country. This is another step in the journey, and I’m excited to keep working, keep learning, and prove I belong.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point. The work doesn’t stop here.

Competed in my 6th powerlifting meet. Another @teamgpt invitational run by Ryan Gleason and team. Squat went very well with all 9 white lights. I hit an all time PR of 200 kg or 441 lbs. Bench moved better than it ever has hitting a new all time PR of 192 lbs or 87.5 kg. Also received 9/9 white lights on Bench. Deadlift went decently well, but had to really grind for a new all time PR of 523.68 lbs. I received a red light on one side for hitching, but with 2/3 white lights my deadlift counted towards my total. With PR lifts in all three lifts this is the best total so far with a total of 525 kg or 1,157 lbs. This is also the shortest powerlifting prep that Brian has ever programmed for me so I am really impressed with his ability to get me so ready to perform so well on the platform. I had such a blast competing with my fellow @teamgpt members. I am switching back to strongman for another show in February at Steel Beach, but it was nice to be reminded how much fun powerlifting can be. I want to thank the talented team of spotters/loaders for keeping all of the athletes safe. I want to thank Ryan Gleason for running another efficient meet. I want to thank the judges for making sure lifts are up to club standard. Last but certainly not least I want to thank @brian_gpt for doing an amazing job handling me and pushing me to lift so much weight.

You don’t need to be at the top of your weight to have a good meet. You can absolutely have a great meet being in between classes. Cutting (especially for a 2 hour weigh in) can negatively affect your performance no matter how perfect you think your plan is. Eating up into the class above you can yield great results and also it’s very very fun. The point of this sport is to lift more weight. And maybe to be able to eat candy while you compete at your sport.

What has changed how you view powerlifting? For better or worse as a community and a sport. Did a good meet inspire you to keep training? Did a bad meet or seeing another lifter do really well entice you to get back to training? Did joining a gym or team motivate you to train harder? Did federations splitting or drama in your lifting community turn you off from it? Did years of children becoming accomplished internet coaches only to quickly fade into obscurity just in time for a new crop of them to pop up with no memory of those that came before them make you question your life choices?

@usapowerlifting CT State Champs 2025.

A nice time.

Thanks to everyone who gives me the opportunity to help them. Thanks to @danny_baez3 @kylecody24 and everyone who helped out in the warm up room. Thanks to all my teammates. Thanks to @ryan_teamgpt for leading us and running the meet. Thanks to @lightningfitness860 for having us. Thanks to @lukey_shoots @flexx.withh.lexx and @calvaryrdd for documenting and probably editing me out of all the pictures I stare directly at the camera on purpose in. Thanks to @karissar0se for bringing very very good food. Thanks to this community for allowing me to be a part of it.

Basically I am just very tired.

How long do you think it takes to build strength? This is a very broad question but specifically in the context of training before a meet or competition? If you are close enough to competing do you feel you can’t get stronger or better? Is there a point where you tell yourself you are not going to get any stronger before you compete? Por queeeeee?

How do you know when you are overtrained/more fatigued than you should be? Is there a physical measure that you recognize? Is it performance inside the gym? Soreness outside the gym? Mental fatigue? What do you usually do to adjust inside and outside of the gym? Do you plan on getting to this point in your training? Do you looovvve feeling like garbage?

What types of things do you let lifters figure out on their own compared to instructing/showing them? Technique? How and why you set up your programs? Whether or not they should do a certain meet or not? That lifting is pointless and life is pain?
