Microcement application: @maison_annab
Colour: Douceur

Result: elegant simplicity

Design: Lane Interiors

Our Drogheda project: the client wanted no tiling, no grout, ease of cleaning & maintenance and loved the movement and depth in a microcement finish.

It is not all equal, however. Employ the experts to apply it if you want a superior finish.

Book a discovery call with us through our website: books are currently open for 2027/2028 projects.

Proof that a stair runner doesn’t have to compete with a colourful interior 🤎

We absolutely love this staircase transformation. The warm, natural texture of the runner works beautifully against those bold red stairs and checkerboard floor — bringing everything together while still letting the original character of the home shine.

Finished with stair rods for that perfect final detail ✨

A gorgeous example of how a neutral runner can completely transform a staircase without playing it too safe.

14 years of CA Design 🤍 Where do I even begin?

14 years ago, I took a chance on an idea and started CA Design.

It began as a small online store, photographing our very first pieces from my aunt’s living room in Blackrock. From there came a pop-up in Antica Stone Gallery, followed by a permanent pop-up on South Dock Street in Ringsend. We then found a home we adored on Ranelagh’s leafy Dunville Avenue, before opening our studio in Portobello.

And now, here we are in our biggest showroom yet on the Long Mile Road - a space that really feels like home for CA Design and everything it has grown into over the past 14 years.

Looking back at those first photos compared to where we are today is honestly so surreal!

We’ve watched our own Mid-Century Collection grow, with pieces like our Eames Style Lounge Chair finding their way into homes all over Ireland. We’ve welcomed some incredible European brands through our doors, from Ethnicraft and 366 Concept to Polspotten, UMAGE and so many more.

We’ve had our furniture featured on Room to Improve more times than I ever could have imagined, worked alongside some incredibly talented Irish architects and interior designers, collaborated with developers and commercial clients on projects big and small, and been featured in publications I used to pick up and read myself.

But most importantly, we’ve seen thousands of our pieces become part of your homes.

There have been plenty of highs and a few lows, risks that paid off (and some that didn’t!), and more lessons than I could ever fit into one post. But 14 years later, I still get just as excited when I find a piece I know you’ll love or when someone sends me a photograph of a CA Design piece sitting perfectly in their home.

To everyone who has bought a chair, visited one of our showrooms, trusted us with their home or project, every developer, designer and architect who has chosen to work with us, everyone who has recommended us to a friend, followed along or supported CA Design in any way over these 14 years - thank you.

I genuinely wouldn’t still be doing what I love 14 years later without you.

Here’s to 14 years of CA Design... and whatever comes next 🥂 Carol-Anne x

Some LuxeBoxes are curated around a mood. Others around an occasion. This one was curated around a special home.

Tom Schley’s space is defined by its mid-century architecture, brought into the present through modern interiors with a confident, and inspiring fondness for rich colour. It’s a home that feels considered but never over-styled, layered with character, warmth, and personality.

When curating a box for Tom, we selected each piece with that balance in mind. Pieces that would sit comfortably within clean architectural lines, complement his modern palette, and still hold their own as individual statements within the space.

Tom has said before that he likes bringing back artwork and objects from faraway travels, and chooses pieces that speak to a feeling rather than following trends. That approach made this curation feel especially aligned with LuxeBox: intentional, personal, and led by feeling rather than formula.

Because we believe the most beautiful spaces aren’t filled with things chosen at random. They’re built around pieces that can work in any room, collections that are designed to sit beautifully alongside one another, for homes that perfectly reflect the people who live in them.

This is LuxeBox, curated for the home.

This special edition created just for Tom's home is currently unavailable, but perhaps not for long…

Thank you @tom_schley for creating this beautiful video showcasing how you styled your collection.
