I think about him everyday. I can still hear his voice. I wouldn't be who I am without him. Happy birthday, Voodoo Ray. Life just ain't the same without u here in the physical.
These pics are some of the art pieces that hang in my home in tribute to my brother Ray. Say his name- Raynond Ultarte aka Voodoo Ray

The holidays can steer up all sorts of emotions, especially when it comes to family dynamics. But here at ASTC we have learned a thing or two from dance that can help:

✨ approach with growth: remember, you can’t control others, but you can guide your own actions, engage with your family from a place of acceptance and growth.

✨ classroom perspective: imagine your family members are fellow dancers in a class. Just like in dance class they’re likely doing their best. This mindset can foster a sense of acceptance and patience.

✨ commit to grow: your choice to focus on personal growth doesn’t just benefit you. It opens doors for your loved ones too. Overtime, this commitment can transform your interactions and relationships.

✨ self-awareness; pay attention to your feelings, invite them, and accept them, being vulnerable with yourself can improve your interactions, leading to more meaningful connections.

✨ And lastly, know that you’re not alone. All of us deserve a place we can call home and if that place didn’t happen to be your own family know that it is your right to build your own by finding a community that resonates with you.

Happy Holidays! ✨🎄
