Hours and hours of dedication, research, and learning and now it finally feels like it all paid off. After 6 months in the air, the Integra is finally off jack stands… for now 😂

Now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of the labor. This isn’t about competition or bragging rights. Just building the car the way I’ve ALWAYS wanted it. The vision finally coming together.

And because I know some people will ask, no gatekeeping here. I was once the one asking questions too and still is.

May 4th 2025 // a big day to remember was purchasing a hardtop for my s2000 . it was an even better experience buying the hardtop from @_renegademotorsports & having it installed in their shop , I’ve always wanted to put my car in their garage just for a day & it happened ! It was a cool experience to be at a big local part manufacturer for S2000’s that impacted the community of S2000’s with their craftsmanship & designs of their products

Again, by no means am I saying this is the correct way to do it, this is just my way, so make sure to do your own research and go with what works best for you.

I’m only painting the rear floor of my interior, so if you notice there’s no paint all the way up the sides, that’s why. I went to Wesco Autobody Supply (Sunset Blvd location) because this is the only location that does same-day paint mixing, so you don’t have to make a return trip.

- Primer (Grey): I used the Euro Spray 1K High Build Primer in grey. Went through two cans and I sprayed two coats, waiting about 15 minutes between each session since my garage was a bit cold. After that, I scuffed it with a Scotch-Brite pad, then vacuumed and wiped everything down using an ammonia-free window cleaner.

- Primer (Black): I also grabbed the Transtar 2-in-1 Primer in black. Since I was spraying my interior black, it made sense to cover the grey primer for better color coverage. I sprayed two coats, gave it a light scuff with a Scotch-Brite pad, then wiped it down again with the same ammonia-free cleaner.

- Paint (NH592P): SprayMax tri-stage paint in a spray can. I went this route because it has paint and clear mixed together. The area was a bit tricky to reach from outside the car, so I did it in stages, rear seat area first, then the trunk area. It was my first time blending too, and I think it came out flawless. Sprayed three coats total.

- Clear (2K): After letting the paint dry for 48 hours, I sprayed three coats of clear to make sure the finish was rock solid and can handle any future wear and tear.
