Yesterday was my goodbye celebration with the incredible Durham Chapel Hill community at Jewish for Good the place that became my home for the past two years. There’s a saying that people come into our lives for a reason, for a season, or for a lifetime
I truly believe that many of you will be part of my life for a lifetime. Thank you to every single person who was part of this journey. To everyone who welcomed me with open arms, made me feel at home, believed in me, laughed with me, and allowed me to share a piece of Israel with this amazing community.

Drum roll🥁🥁🥁 Our rider of the month is TOM EYAL!!!!!

Tom’s love for spin began when he was 14, taking classes back in Israel. But we’ve been lucky enough to have his presence at the studio since February❤️

🚲Favorite thing about CBCH:
“From the moment I walked into CycleBar Chapel Hill, I felt like I had found a second home. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, warm, and supportive. It’s a space that allows me to truly be myself without feeling self-conscious—which can sometimes happen in workout environments. Here, I instantly felt comfortable and seen.”

💪Motivation to ride:
“Riding gives me a special moment just for myself—me, the music, and my body. It’s where I can release all the thoughts and stress of the day. It’s honestly something I look forward to every single day. It keeps me grounded, energized, and happy.”

📚Outside the studio:
“I’m 23 years old and moved here from Israel in August 2024. I’m a Hebrew and Jewish studies teacher, and also the Israeli emissary (shaliach) at the Jewish Community Center in Durham. Outside of work, I love theater and I’m passionate about French culture!”

🕺Favorite artist:
“I absolutely love Tate McRae—she’s my favorite! I also get super excited when songs from the late ‘90s and early 2000s are on the playlist.”

☕️Favorite memory:
“One of my favorite memories is the day you brought coffee to class and I ended up meeting a new friend. As someone who moved here less than a year ago from a different country, CycleBar has become a place of belonging for me. It feels like a community, a family, a home away from home—and I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you for making my experience in the U.S. even more special 💗💗”

WE LOVE YOU TOM❤️❤️❤️
