Today is the half point (of venues not contract length) of Emma and I feel I am halfway though another job before I properly said good bye to the other job. We finished @ldngatsby on the 7th September. And then a goodbye that none of us were prepared for. @tomgilling1975 died two weeks ago and we all just said take care and see you soon n the last day. Tom was a huge part of the wardrobe team such a pranker, warm friendly would talk to everyone. Tom loved theatre the west end jokes pranks fun chatting anecdotes people socialising. Essentially Tom loved life. As we all should. But sometimes we forget. Thanks for a summer or mirth and merriment Tom ❤️ Fond memories

Garry, Tommy, you were the sunshine in everyone’s life and such an inspiration to us all during our Music Theatre days in the 90s. You were kind, talented, HILARIOUS and above all, you had the wonderful gift of making people feel included, special and interesting. Everyone who met you loved you!
Although you enjoyed a well-deserved successful professional career in the industry, for me, and I’m guessing the rest of the Llandudno Music Theatre crew from the 90s, you will always be on that Arcadia/Venue Cymru stage - as Alfred Locke, as our Wizard, as Julian Marsh, as “Suddenly Seymour”, as King Herod and, of course, PT Barnum himself. There you are, safe and sound forever, in the hearts and memories of us all, doing what you love, with the people you love, making people SMILE. How wonderful that the lyrics you sang as PT Barnum were the very essence of you:

The colors of my life
Are bountiful and bold,
The purple glow of indigo,
The gleam of green and gold.
The splendor of the sunrise,
The dazzle of a flame,
The glory of a rainbow,
I’d put ‘em all to shame.

Wonderful Tommy, or Gazza (as I liked to call him) It has been a long time since we last spoke, but you were always one of those people you could just pick up where you left off.
Always so charming and funny. I still hear your laugh. I remember when we first met you at a Joseph reunion back in 2004. You and Ron were perfect together right from the off. Even when we went to the Chinese restaurant and fell down the stairs!
I was so sad to hear of your passing and still can't quite believe it. I know you wouldn't want anyone to feel down, so I'll raise a glass to your smile, your laugh, and your love. Cheers, mate ❤️x

I don’t really know what to say - my thoughts and feelings are all over the place! But one thing I do know is that I love you so so much Tom Gilling
I am devastated to hear that you have passed away! We met 10 years ago when we did JCS and boy did we have the best time together with all our incredible friends! Your kind and caring ways mixed with your incredible and naughty sense of humour! I’ll never forget the time we went for a little tour around Berlin together - just me and you on a day trip and I got trapped on a German metro and almost ended up in a depot! We were in hysterics the whole day and that just about finished us off! I cannot thank you enough for being my life and making such an impact on me and I will never forget you! My thoughts are with all our friends, your family and with your rock and beloved partner Kieron Harris
Rest easy now my darling gorge! I hope you know how loved you were and how much we are going to miss you! The world has lost another light!
