Loved the chance to host the Season Launch for @nbl1south. Always great to work with the team at @basketball_vic and what an epic venue at @courtsidemelbourne. Brilliant expert insights from 3 of the best in @chrisanstey13, @bethdavis10 and @mhickey23. In the blink of an eye though the launch is long gone and things are heating up in the race to the @nbl1 finals! Who you got?

Hi, For those of you that don't know me, my name is Stuart and I am a hobbyist Sports photographer from Melbourne, Australia. This year I took 31,076 photos across several different sports and of varying different subjects. Highs, lows, action, BTS, emotions, referees, good shots, bad shots, injuries, the works. As the year winds down, I wanted to take a brief few moments to share with everyone a few collections of shots that I personally found interesting. Personally, I love shoes. Especially on a basketball court. When everyone on a team looks the same, a pair of shoes helps that player stand out from the rest. It gives that pllayer an identity and allows them to showcase their personality when they are wearing the exact same thing as their team mates. Its the foundation of the Air Jordan brand all the way back to the inception of the AJ1's. "Sneaker culture" to this day is still such an important part of an athlete's process and this is not just in basketball but in all sports. So, the first collection to end the year are my favourite shoes. P.s. I have tagged owners of shoes where I can. If you know someone I have missed, please let me know and I can tag them. #SportsPhotographer #kickstagram #sneakerhead #nike #nikon
