Over a month since I performed as part of the choir at the @blackcreativetrailblazers showcase — and I still get chills thinking about that night.

I prayed for visibility, and God answered with opportunity. That stage reminded me that when preparation meets divine timing, nothing can block what’s meant for you.

Surrounded by so much Black brilliance, creativity, and faith, I felt home.

🌙 This journey is far from over — the Moonchild season has only just begun. More music, more growth, more light.

💛 Huge gratitude to everyone who came out, supported, shouted, sang, prayed and believed. You made that night unforgettable.

Our incredible BCT Choir! ✨

Created from an idea after our Black Creatives Social at @mcrmuseum in July 2025 and brought to life about 5 weeks before the showcase, this incredible group kicked off the 2025 showcase led by @chansingoutmusic

They sang an Afro medley put together by @yorubachic featuring Afrobeats classics Including Ye by @burnaboygram and they managed to grow together in just a few weeks to perform on the showcase stage ✨.

Choir: @ayekpaniava @sim_sais @n.teka_ @yorubachic @renee_sade @jenniferdala @jessicadala_ @dear.adeolu @marilynahinkan @tomike.s @lukus_jona

Huge thanks to @chansingoutmusic for being a fearless leader and incredible choir director ✨

Huge thanks to @sim_sais for making all the stunning African print accessories for the choir! ✨

Huge thanks to @hassell_free for the stunning Alibii sunglasses 😎

Huge thanks to @sam_davies_94 @nia.choir @theuntoldorchestra for their invaluable support, encouragement & space to help us pull it all together

Huge thanks to @n.teka_ for encouraging this choir into becoming a reality!

One week later… and I’m STILL not over the Black Creative Trailblazers showcase 🤯🔥
This wasn’t just a show — it was a CELEBRATION of Black creativity, excellence and POWER.
Models, dancers, singers, designers, rappers, choir… the TALENT was out of this world! 🌍✨

This weekend I’ve been reflecting and honestly…
I’m just so GRATEFUL.
Grateful to GOD. 🙏🏾
Grateful to @blackcreativetrailblazers
Grateful to this MANCHESTER community that has welcomed me with open arms. 💛

I moved here to grow as an artist… and look what God is already doing.
Manchester is THE place to be.
The love, the support, the creativity… UNMATCHED.
I’m counting blessings every single day. 🫶🏾

Let’s keep this momentum going.
Let’s keep creating.
Let’s keep making HISTORY. 🚀#blackcreativetrailblazers #manchestercreatives #manchestermusic #singersongwritersofinstagram #womeninmusic #blackexcellence✊🏾 #CreativeCommunity #gratefulhearts #liveperformer #outofthisworld #blessedandgrateful😇❤️ #viralartist #risingstars #thisisonlythebeginning

🔥 What. A. Week. 🔥

From the @puma.uk Cypher on Tuesday — where producers built the beats and we, the artists, brought the magic — to yesterday’s @blackcreativetrailblazers showcase at @avivastudios / @factory_international , this has been a whirlwind of creativity and community ✨

I’m beyond grateful to God 🙏🏾 for guiding my journey as a singer-songwriter here in Manchester. The energy, the talent, the artistry I witnessed… still raving about it!

To everyone who made these moments possible — thank you 💛 Let’s keep building, let’s keep inspiring, let’s keep creating. Kuddos to @thishartofmine & @adeysilver for making this the most memorable experience for me here in Manchester! You are the true Trailblazers ❤️ A special thank you to @darrius8.8 @cdephotos @courtswrites @pieradiouk @studio88mcr @youthbeyondborders @onedawall @officialche3kz for the love and support 💙

Introducing Songwriters Unmasked 🎭

Back in August we piloted our very first session at @inner_inc and it was magic✨ The energy in the room reminded us why we wanted to create this songwriting group. Thank you to everyone who came through, shared, listened and held space.
It’s all about leaving perfection at the door, connecting with each other and seeing what happens when we bring our voices and stories into the same space.

So we’ve decided to keep it going 🤩 From now on, we’ll be at Wine + Coffee Club twice a month:

💚 first Thursday – for sharing songs in progress (demos, ideas, or trying things out live)
💚 third Thursday – a themed night for writing and collaboration

The next one is happening Thursday 2nd October, 7pm at Wine + Coffee Club ✨

Entry is free but please complete the sign-up link in bio if you wanna get involved 🫶🏾
