I recently checked out the newest padel club at St Andrews Beach down in the Mornington Peninsula. 🌊 Words can’t fathom how peaceful I felt playing a fairly stress inducing sport (just kidding). 😅 @standrewsbeachpadel

For what it’s worth, this is the most tranquil setting I’ve ever played padel in, and I’ve been to multiple clubs across Australia, Asia and Europe. 🌏

For the locals, this is such a great way to get exposure and start playing this beautiful sport. For Melbourne locals who are a 1.5 hour drive away, it’s also a great activity to plan around your trip to the Mornington Peninsula.

Tom and I share thoughts in the video above and a bit on why these courts are different.

The last few months has been a ride but I thought it was time to push myself back onto your feed! 🩷 What have you been up to to spark little moments of joy in your life recently?

A week ago we ran our first tournament together with @padelmarketau, and we're still buzzing from it.

Thank you to every player who stepped on court. The competition was real, the padel was good, and you're the reason this event happened at all.

Thank you to everyone who came down just to watch and cheer. Having a crowd on the sideline changes the whole feel of a day like this.

Thank you to our staff, who ran check-in, marshaled every court, kept warm-ups on time and moved 24 teams through a tight schedule without a hitch.

We would also like to thank our sponsors for backing our very first event: @xynergyrealtysouthyarra @sanitized.au @navanti_finance @pepperlunch_aus @umeecafe.melb @lari.active

And finally a thank you to @nordicpadelaustralia for the venue and hospitality to help us run this event.

This is only the start.

How do you handle talking about your defeat?

Padel is a high pressure sport. When the score tightens it becomes a mind game.

Some players talk after every single point. Others go quiet and let their partner reset.

How do you stay composed as a pair?

Comment your best tactics or send this to your partner you wanna improve your communication with ❤️

Rain couldn’t stop the @padelinvitationalaus !

Over the weekend I shot at the Sydney Opera House for the biggest Padel event Australia has ever hosted! And I shot it all on a camera that’s over 50 years old. 😮‍💨

To everyone who I met, thank you for what you’re doing to build this sport here in Australia. It was great to talk shop about how proper sports content can take this game to the next level and how to best share it with our sports communities.

I believe that this sport is about take off! Not just because of how exciting the game is, but because how almost anyone can play it at any level. Meaning that the communities that are forming now will be the foundation of something special to come.

These are the stories I want to share as a sports creator, not just the highlights. So if you’re looking for someone who can help you with what you’re building for your next sports project, my DMs are always open.
