I’m so delighted to be working with @woodstreetwalls who’ve trusted me to tell the stories of the artists they commission.

Join me on a tour today for the launch of The Walthamstow Way, which includes Wood Street in Walthamstow, East London, and its incredible artistic and small business community.

Wood St Walls started doing by painting murals in Wood Street, a neighbourhood in East Walthamstow, and have expanded throughout London and now way beyond. Now they’re a creative arts organisation that works on global projects with world-renowned street artists.

They commission artists, pay them a fair wage, and reinvest their income into the local community. Art lifts us up even when we walk along the street. I’m constantly awe-struck to see it. I think you will be too.

On my Good Life Tours, I don’t want to just show you the murals and move on. I’ve worked with Wood St Walls to learn the background of the artists and the stories behind their murals, to share the information with you. I’ll also contribute a donation from every ticket sale to an artist fund that Wood St Walls will manage.

Join us for the launch of the Walthamstow Way tomorrow, for a tour that includes art on walls by Wood St Walls artists but also art in bars and shops and the cutest gallery you can imagine.

And this is the start of many more.

So happy to be doing two Good Life Tours for the launch of the new #WalthamstowWay on Sat 19 Sept in East London.

Starting at Wood St train station visiting shops, @woodstreetindoormarket, bars @woodstbear and @thelacynook and talented artists in their studios (the uber-energetic @sarahsmitsart), then through the raving Ravenswood Estate and on to the village and Walthamstow Central.

Meet me at 10am or 2pm, and see all of these amazing places, street art, people and more, on a cultural and art tour of this little-visited part of London.

But this is just the start! The Walthamstow Way incudes Ravenswood Industrial Estate with @mothersruine17 @pillarsbrewery and @gods.ownjunkyard (look for special reel tomorrow) - and Walthamstow Village with a curator’s tour at @garage_gallery_e17 by @lauravillareshouseart and murals throughout by @woodstreetwalls artists.

It’s a 2.5 hour cultural extravaganza you don’t want to miss.

ACOMB FEST 2026

It’s a wrap! Wow what a weekend!

Over 12,000 + visitors (and counting), sell out events, some of the biggest nights for the bars and food vendors, a celebration of the area with world class art and a legacy which will help shape a future generation of creativity. We could not be more proud of what Acomb fest has achieved!

We want to start by saying a huge thank you to all the local businesses, community, schools, residents, community groups and churches for all their hard work and fabulous hosting skills. This festival was for you guys and none of it would’ve been possible without you.

And to our artists who have brought unbelievable artwork to our highstreet - @smugone , @curtis_hylton , @sledone , @thepostman_art @_peachzz_ , @tomlikesstatic and @j.seeart . Although the festival is over, the beautiful work these guys have created will last and continue to bring joy, colour and pride for many years to come.

@_rarecollective_ deserve some big love for the paint jam in support of @sashyorks . Amazing team and fabulous art!

All of our AOP team and volunteers, you guys have smashed it! Over 18 months of hard work and it has paid off in such a beautiful way.

The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive and we are so pleased that so many people enjoyed the festival, activities and artwork.

It has been a pleasure to work with everyone involved and we’d like to give a special mention to our friends at @greateracomb who have been with us on this journey from the very beginning.

In 2021, Joy Division’s iconic “Unknown Pleasures” album cover was reimagined in Manchester as part of Music Declares Emergency’s #NoMusicOnADeadPlanet campaign through a collaboration with Peter Saville.

Originally created by Saville in 1979 using radio wave data from pulsar CP 1919, the legendary waveform was reinterpreted in response to the climate change crisis, transformed into a series of flat lines to symbolize what MDE described as “the eternal silence of a dead planet.”

The murals were produced by @withingtonwalls , with @tomlikesstatic painting the reimagined Unknown Pleasures artwork just down the street from @aksel_p19’s mural honoring Peter Saville.

The campaign also included a limited-edition line of redesigned Unknown Pleasures T-shirts, with proceeds supporting environmental initiatives. Former Joy Division bassist Peter Hook backed the project, calling climate change one of the greatest challenges facing future generations and encouraging fans to support the campaign.

Since then, @MusicDeclares has grown into an international movement, helping launch EarthPercent with Brian Eno, expanding the No Music On A Dead Planet campaign, and uniting thousands of artists, festivals, labels, and music organizations committed to making the music industry more sustainable.

“Greetings from Archway.” 💌⁠

My second mural in one month, I stepped off the plane from Boston straight in to this piece…

Inspired by vintage postcards, this mural is my love letter to the North London neighbourhood that shaped me.⁠
⁠
I’ve always loved those old “Greetings from...” postcards. They were more than just souvenirs, they were a way of telling someone, “I’m thinking of you. I wish you could see this place.” ⁠
A postcard captures a moment, a memory, and a sense of place, turning somewhere ordinary into somewhere worth sharing.⁠
⁠
A little-known fact about me is that I send postcards everywhere I go. It’s one of my favourite travel rituals. In a world of instant messages, there’s something special about taking the time to choose a postcard, write a note by hand, and send a little piece of a place to someone you love.⁠
⁠
That idea became the inspiration for this mural.⁠
⁠
Archway isn’t usually thought of as a postcard destination. It’s not on most tourists’ London itineraries. But for the people who live here, it’s special. It’s full of history, characters, landmarks, and stories. I wanted to celebrate that by giving Archway the postcard it deserves; a giant “Greetings from...” that reminds us every place has something worth sharing.⁠
