Noni is 2!
And I'm still pinching myself.
I was fully ready to be a boy mom.
Kids are kids, and we love them no matter what.
But she's magical in a way that's different to
her brothers, with which I'm equally obsessed.
I don't know if it's being able to fully see myself in her,
Her innately feminine energy, or just the fact that I grew up in a house full of girls and being around a little girl again feels like home. Like family.
We weren't complete without her.
Happy birthday, Domino Skye. 🎈

If you have any suggestions as to what @tommyscakes should put on the next cake, or you know someone deserving a delicious, one-of-a-kind treat, let me know! 🙏

I had so much fun this weekend.
My little sister @josiebello129 & @sparksygoboom visited so Thomas baked them a cake -- Quill helped.🙈

Josie picked a design, which you'll see on the final video.

The next video is the laser burning the design onto Thomas's cake, and then being slightly pushed just as it was finishing, subsequently smashing the cake! 🙉

The Bellos are very clumsy.

Yesterday, @tommysvoice @rossistall and I
celecrated @michibetancourt_ 's birthday.
Thomas was such a great host.
He bought a festive tablecloth,
put out drinks,
made skewers and burgers for everyone.
I mean, he enjoys cooking, so it’s not a big deal,
but after we were done eating,
we all went to the pool with our drinks and the kids,
and had the best time – listening to music and playing with the kids in such a way
that we all felt young again – all but Thomas.
He was stuck inside, working.

He cooked for everyone
and ultimately didn’t even get to enjoy the party.
We thanked him, of course,
but he wasn’t doing it for the thanks.

I feel like most things we do for each other
usually aren’t a big deal –
and some things are just basic
things that need to be done anyway.

But I think it’s still important to remember
that someone is doing something
they truly don’t have to do, and perhaps
don’t really want to do;
plus, they’re not actually expecting a thank you at all. I don’t need to be thanked for cleaning the kitchen,
or doing the laundry –
but I sure like to hear it,
because then I know it hasn't gone unnoticed,
and that really means something.
.
.
.
So for all those times and more,
Thank you.

$📷 I would love to do this trip again, but with better equipment, skill, and prep to be able to really capture how beautiful it all was. And that's that we didn't even plan for anything super scenic. I knew I wanted to see a national park or two 🏞 which we did: 📍Joshua Tree and 📍White Sands National Park in Alamogordo, TX (originally chosen because they have the world's largest pistachio! Don't Google it) But I truly could not put my phone down the entire trip. Whenever I did, I'd miss something amazing. I yelled at @__mama_chi__ when I missed horses because we were talking on the phone 😅 (sorry about that!) This is just a small fraction of what's in my road trip album. I'll probably post more as I get better at editing these videos. . . . . . #travel #explorepage #roadtrip #scenery #nature #mountains #cartrip #vacation #summer #nationalparks$
