What a crazy honour it’s been work on this collection alongside the BEAMS team 🧡🫶🏼✨

The Kōyō collection is about evolution, not just nostalgia.

We went deep into 25 years of BEAMS × Arc’teryx history, preserving the details that made those collaborations iconic, while pushing them forward through new technology, construction and silhouette.
With the Tokyo Creation Center, that conversation now happens together in Tokyo, and I think you can feel that closeness in every detail of the collection.

The Theta AR was the first model Arc’teryx and BEAMS ever collaborated on. We brought it back and restored it as close to the OG as we could definitely not an easy job for design and product development, but our amazing team killed it. 🧡

Then we wanted to create something completely new.
The Jogan Cargo Pant is the first net-new design created specifically for this capsule, celebrating how both brands have evolved over the last 25 years. Built in our lightweight but durable Stormtech, the silhouette takes inspiration from the BEAMS PLUS 6-pocket cargo.

And don’t even get me started on the colour…
Kōyō describes the changing colours of autumn leaves in Japan, that natural cycle of change felt like the perfect way to represent the evolution of our partnership with BEAMS.
We searched the archives for the palette, bringing back Vermilion from the original 2001 BEAMS × Arc’teryx collaboration, alongside the iconic BEAMS Orange. The three front zippers shift from Blaze to Dynasty Red, referencing both the changing leaves and colours from across our archives.
Even the chest embroidery goes back to the archive, the original 24K Gold brought back especially for this capsule.
There are so many tiny details and stories packed into this collection. It’s been an incredible project to work on and I’m ridiculously proud of the whole team and everything we made together.

So much fun in Joetsu. Still can’t get over living 2 hours away from a snow resort ❄️

Don’t watch the accidental translation smut on the last pic. It’s from a splinter, I promise.
