This is sort of how it all began.
‘Close & Personal’ was my very first body of work which kickstarted my photographic life 💕
Here’s a snipbit of that series

Photographing theatre makers, musicians, choreographers that I admired. They were allowed to choose the location where they would be photographed. My only demand was that it was of some personal meaning to them. It gave them the agency to decide how close or not they allowed me in.
I loved how they were so willing to work with such a newbie and beginner like me and am forever grateful to them all.

Throwback to 1998 with Zita Swoon’s My Bond With You And Your Planet: Disco! A rhythmic dive into the surreal connections we share with the world around us.

The official music video is a masterpiece of lo-fi, disco energy that captures the era perfectly.

Apparently this album was 16 years in the making… I’m glad it finally got released. It will be my soundtrack today.

Directly after Tom told me (after a solo gig) he was leaving Zita Swoon, @bart_kamil_van_lierde and I came up with the plan to make a sign that read: "Tom, stay!" (Of course, we knew his decision was final, but we couldn't let it go unnoticed some days later @paradisoadam)

I don’t follow trends when it comes to covers.
I choose only the songs I carry within me.

This is a song that found me on its own.
From the first listen, something shifted and decided to stay with me.

So today, I share this piece with you, exactly as I feel it.

Tamino…an inspiration in every sense.
Thank you, @taminoamir 🩶!
