Finally found an instrumental piece🎹 which I felt fits the visual aesthetic of this one.🤩

SOFT PLAY EVERYTHING AND NOTHING CONCEPT DESIGN

@softplayplaysoft

Here is a special concept design I made dedicated to Soft Play’s wonderful new song ‘Everything And Nothing’.

Although the song is about loss on reflection it does have an underlayer of hope. I wanted the design to show the softer side of the song but also not lose the bands punk rock theme.

“Describe it to me”

PONGOUR FALLS
Dalat, Southern Vietnam
28th March 2024

A piece created from the idea of explaining memories, labelling an image with key points so the scene could be built up in someone’s mind.

I took this image of my friend @georgesmartie while travelling Southern Vietnam, we had just driven to Pongour Falls, just out of the city of Dalat, a really special day that I always love to think about.

The second slide is the note book I take everywhere with me and the sketch and thoughts I wrote while there.

MELT
Typographic experimentation continued.

Get in contact to bring your ideas to life

—

A couple days ago I asked on my story for people to suggest words or themes for me to sketch and then turn into graphics.

For this piece I played with the theme of “Molten” suggested by @roslyn._studio as she creates using glass I decided to mix the the idea of glass melting as if it was an ice sculpture, I tried to create a material that reminded me of melting glass and used thick viscous drops to keep a differentiation between glass and ice.

Thank you to everyone who submitted words and themes I will be continuing with these over the next weeks.

This piece was hand sketched then turned 3D using blender, with final coloration done in photoshop.

And the Ice Ice Baby lyrics are there in case you forgot the words 🩵 🧊

DARK O2

—

Get in Contact to bring your ideas to life

—

Typographic experiment created from a sketch I did the other day after hearing about the discovery of “Dark Oxygen”.

A recent discovery, initially recorded by Andrew Sweetman in 2013 but was written off as a error from the equipment, as like we all had been taught to understand, oxygen is meant to be created from photosynthesis, but after being re visited years later has shown that this may no longer be the case.
